Very Clean, somewhat close together sites, bad WiFi, 7 tv channels! Nice fire ring! Very strict cancel policy!

Overall Rating
Enjoyed our time at bucks port Koa. Sites were well spread apart and well maintained. The people were very nice. Looked like a good number of people were storing their rvs, so it was pretty quiet. Laundry facilities were great.

“Unfair Cancellation Policy”

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I'm completely frustrated. They are represented by KOA, but their policies and cancellation procedures are completely independent. I made a reservation for 7 nights on 7/10 and called to cancel on 7/12. My reservation was more than a month out. I cancelled due to inclement weather (floods, rain, fires, etc.) and we decided not to travel to New England this summer. I was told that because it was a 7 night stay there would be a $250. cancellation fee. If I had booked one less night, it would be refundable????? I have used KOA's for many years and have never had a complaint or issue until now. If they are a KOA campground they should adhere to standard KOA policies. I am asking for a refund. KOA headquarters said they couldn't help me because they are an independent campground. If they are independent, then why are they on the KOA website.
