Mission Ridge Ski Resort

Mission Ridge offers Truck Campers 2 options - The first option is open to all types of RVs - trailers, motor homes, etc. $20 (as of 2019) per night / no hookups / reservable spots up against the side hill of the lower parking area. They are long enough enough for bigger rigs and plowed fairly flat. The website says there are 15 of these and the weekend that we visited I did hear that they were all booked all Fri-Sat, so do call early for a spot if you are considering this option. Since we are a truck camper and we like free options - we went for option #2 - there is a limited amount of free parking area for Truck Campers and Vans that are able to pull up to the hill at a 45° angle from the bank. This bank is also in the lower lot, but on the middle edge, right as you pull in there is a bank on the right and that is where you park. We were all alone on a Wed and Thur night. A very peaceful nights sleep! We did have to did out the snow under the front tires in order to get level. We have camped in this lot more times than I can count.... we used to camp in the RV area when it was free but once they started charging we moved to the free area for truck campers. This is a smaller resort so none of the parking is very far to walk to the lift area. The biggest benefit to the pay area for skiers is that you can see right down to the area and with the free area you will have to walk across the parking lot after your day of skiing. Overall a great place to ski camp!
