Just a good news bad news update for April 29th, dump and water are on and working (Woo-hoo!) Bad news is the RV overnight area is closed due to construction. Rv'ers can still park in the front gravel lot as you first come in but much smaller than the RV lot. Let's hope there's positive changes happening to the RV section.

I got fought up in a wind/dust storm and was so glad to find this place. Very easy access to the Highway, level ground to park on, picnic tables and fresh water pumps. Plus there was plenty of room for my pups to run around. Some of the reviews mention that there is toilet paper and boy is there ever.

Clean and spacey. Nice shaded picnic spots and dog area. All sunny where RVs park. Great Verizon. FREE. We didn’t stay, just dump and fill. Lots if flies around NV right now.

This is a free camping area located off US 95 16 miles west of Tonopah, Nevada. Pulling into the rest stop there is a sign saying no trucks allowed. This is a free camping area located off US 95 16 miles west of Tonopah, Nevada. Pulling into the rest stop there is a sign saying no trucks allowed. There is a gravel area for RV parking towards the front of the rest area. Next, there’s an area for cars with restrooms and beautiful green grass. Further back is a large gravel lot with a sign for “RV Camping”. There are no hookups or designated spots. Pulled in on a Monday evening and there were 5 other campers already here. The lot could fit at least another dozen RVs. There are some picnic tables and potable water near the camping section. Closer to the exit is a dump station. This area allows people to camp for no more than 18 hours in a 2 week period.
Since it is a rest area close to the highway there is some road noise.
Verizon signal was 2 bars. Internet searches and texting was on the slow side.
I would definitely consider staying here again if traveling through this area. This was the halfway point to our next destination.

18 hours max. Dump is on far side of loop across from bathrooms. Fresh water is over by the NW corner where the overnight RV parking is. Both are marked clearly. Hot water in bathrooms. Water faucets have handles that look like you have to pump it but it's not a pump. Just lift the handle and get really strong water pressure! ... more

Free is the key word here. Potable water and dump here. space for several big rigs. picnic tables, restrooms, trash cans. Very quiet during the night even though it is right beside the highway.

Great spot in the middle of nowhere on our way to Tonopah dispersed camping. Easy access to dump and fresh water. Some litter blowing around, but overall clean and nice. Has ample room for overnight parking.

Stopped here after overnighting on BLM land near by. The dump was open. Easy access, we have a 42’ with a toad. They also have overnight camping which looked nice. No trucks allowed.
