This is a great place for a overnight stay or longer. Great base camp for all the things the Rouge Valley has to offer.

We had a great stay here. Friendly, helpful staff. Long office hours - 8a-9p or 10p.
Well maintained facilities.
Variety of sites based on your needs, free dump for non sewer sites.
Pools, small playground, pool table and book/DVD shelves.
Mature tree shaded spots - much appreciated during record heat. Quiet, despite size of campground and proximity to I-5.
Excellent base for exploring Southern Oregon- specifically Crater Lake and Oregon Caves.
Also convenient to Rogue River, National Forests and cities of Medford and Grants Pass.
Be sure to order an amazing pizza from Figaro's, delivered to your site!

Friendly staff. Well-maintained sites and facilities.
Pull-throughs are a bit tight but still nicely cared for.
Peaceful and quiet.
Wifi was better than most. Could connect easily and do light computer work without issue.
AT&T and Verizon both were strong.

Nice KOA with all the essential amenities. Clean showers/bathrooms. Has laundry for $1.75/load. The pool was open when we were here (early June) it’s not heated though. Very quiet campground, did not see a lot of kids running around. ATT and Verizon both worked good

Not a destination resort at this time of year, but great as an overnight on our way south. Except for distant highway noise, it was quiet and pastoral. Nice end of the row pull- through site with views of the surrounding hills. Pool was closed but laundry was clean and well maintained. There were some full-timers there, but in a separate section. None seemed sketchy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a good experience. T-mobile 5G service at 4 bars. Camp wi-fi was good except in the early evening when the bandwidth was challenged.

This park is a gem ... lots of trees and grass ... spacing between sites varies, but adequate ... there are a number of long-termers, but the park seems to be organized in such a way that they are mostly separate from the transients ... centrally located for trips to the ocean (Crescent City, Brookings - 2 hours), Crater Lake - 1.5 hours, and other places to visit up/down I-5 ... Medford shopping is 15 minutes away ... the ONLY negative is that the town of Gold Hill has no restaurants, so Rogue River or Medford are the restaurant options. We adjusted the length of our stay twice, and the staff was very accommodating. We WILL stay here again every time we come through. Wi-Fi is good, and great if you are near the office. Rates charged are reasonable for the southern Oregon area.
