We stayed here for almost 2 weeks. During that time there was a sewage smell near the bathhouse. The sites are not level and most are not shaded or very wide. We also had brown water and were extremely thankful for our multiple water filters.
We paid for a 30 amp service, but had low voltage the entirety of our stay. The solution that was proposed, was that we remove our Watchdog EMS and Surge protector. We decided to keep our Watchdog on. They had several campsites on the same breaker, something we have never seen at any campground in our 3 years of travel. On our last day, we didn't even have enough voltage to keep fans running inside our RV. Please be aware that low voltage seems to be an ongoing problem as an RV behind us had an electrical cord burn up while we were there.

The location worked well for us and our needs. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Showers were free and hot water was plentiful. The nature trail just down the hill from us was perfect for walking dogs without much distraction.
Entry way had a lot of pot holes. Getting in and out was an adventure as some folks seem to think the speed limit is much higher than as posted. No issues with power or water. People were very respectful of the quiet hours. We had no issues with noise while we were there.

Cell service was excellent (Straight Talk) sites were comfortably spaced with tables and pits. Park was neat and clean with playground and pool. Great experience

Now why I wouldn't book again...
Location is tucked back 15 minutes from the 1, which by itself isn't bad but it's down some somewhat tight roads that we definitely brushed some trees on. We have a 41' fifth wheel and the roads to the camp made me nervous. It isn't a convenient location to much. There are a few trails nearby and the town of Bath, but it's over an hour to the more interesting places like Boothbay, Portland, Camden, etc...
The grounds are messy.. like Joe Dirt type messy. There's random broken down cars and tools scattered everywhere. A garage open to many sites that looks rough - they are fixing up the broken cars in there I think. They have a restaurant on site, which is fine, but the hood vent for the kitchen is LOUD and right next to most of the FHU sites. The seasonal campers are really messy - looks more like a homeless camp on the side of the freeway.
The people were pretty backwoods dueling banjoey. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, but we don't particularly like the feeling like it's a day at Nascar when I'm at a campground.
To me, this is the difference between a trailer park and an RV campground. This place is most definitely a trailer park. If you want a relaxing, nature inspired experience, look elsewhere. If you want to get ready for the lawnmower races, these are your people.

Off the beaten path. Quiet night sleep. Two areas one in the woods and another out in the open. Sewer, water and electric. Showers are adequate. Believe there is a paintball facility here. Had strong straight talk signal and many air tv signals
