Planned on staying 1 night ended up staying 4 that says it all. Hosts are great and keep a clean tight ship. River and trails are added plus.

Once in the campground there is the upper loop and the lower loop. I have a 32 foot trailer and truck, total of 53 feet, and the turn around was too sharp for me to make so I had to back out. Not a big deal but if you have a larger rig use the lower loop. There were large rigs on the lower loop and you will have no issues.
Spaces were large and there is some trees between sights which I liked. The campground was clean and the pit toilets were clean, for pit toilets.
When we were there it was quiet and we enjoyed our time. But you are 40 miles from Bonners Ferry so know you are out in the woods camping.
I recommend this if you are looking for some quiet camping on a river.

We stayed here just a few days but will definitely be back. Very nicely kept by the hosts, easy to get to, beautiful site next to a very pleasant river.

Maybe the best campground we have ever stayed. Spacious private sites. Each site is unique. Most sites have direct river access. The campground hosts were kind and gave us a book on Idaho trees...
This was one of the places we wish we spent more time.
Thumbs way up!

We stayed here an entire week as this is a favorite campground of ours. It’s late September, so there were only two other campers besides us. It’s late in the season and there is no camp host or water available. The upside of that is the price; free! Our 5th wheel is 27’ and fit just fine. My wife and I have been campground hosts for 5 - 6 weeks the past two summers. The campground is our favorite in the area. The sites are roomy, private, and most are well shaded. The Moyie River runs along the backside of the campground - it is fast, cold, clean, and many are successful fishing for trout. It is also used for rafting during the early part of the season and many rafters camp at the site when the water is high. About half of the sites are along the river. Most of the remainder are up a bench - while not on the river, these are the largest and most private sites in the campground. The campground has modern outhouses that do not smell and are easy to keep clean. There is water at several spigots scattered throughout the campground. There is no electricity, dump station, or trash removal (pack it in, pack it out). Because there are campground hosts from late May to September, the campground is kept clean and neat. There is a nature trail that runs from the lower part of the campground up to a ridge with a scenic overlook of the river below. We have seen moose, turkeys, deer, eagles, and the occasional bear (but there are no "camp bears"). There are bear boxes in several of the campsites and otherwise it is strongly recommended that campers keep their food in either a hardside camper or within their vehicle (so we don't get camp bears). Access is via Meadow Creek road which is twisty, but mostly paved but gravel about 2 miles from the campground. Bonners Ferry is about a 30 minute drive and has all supplies and services. There are many many fishing, hiking, exploring, and other recreation opportunities in the area. The only downside I know is a train track about a half a mile from the campsite with 2 - 3 trains daily.
