There is a large sign with various rules where the beach starts, but I cannot remember if it said anything about fires. While staying there, we watched some people build a small fire right on the sand. Nobody said anything and they kept it small, so my guess is that it would be ok.

I'm not totally for sure. During our stay, the weather wasn't very good so we couldn't even think about having a fire.
