Overall Rating
Very nice, isolated site. It’s a few miles down gravel road from the highway. There are a total of eight sites. About half the sites can be reserved, the other half are first come first serve. I do not believe that it would be a crowded location.Beautiful setting with lots of trees and great hiking trails. I was the only one there that night that I stayed. There is a farm about a mile away and it times I could hear barking dogs from that far. It’s a couple Miles from Union Pacific rail line. Could hear train whistles and train sounds, but not very bothersome. The road through the campsite and the sites are somewhat narrow. Bigger rigs may have challenges getting in to the campground and into specific sites. There is no electricity, there are two water hydrants, and a porta potty available. They were Multiple trash cans around the campground.
