We booked two nights online.
When arrived, just U turn and back. Look like trush, the spots broken and u maintained, no dump station, no cell reception, no wifi, actually. Nothing.
Wild camping can be better option.

The lower campground is reservation only on 41 of the 45 sites. The reservation system was down but the camp host allowed me to use one of the sites. Next I run into (2) aggressive dogs off leash while walking to the envelope pay drop box. Site pads are worn/cracked asphalt and unlevel. No T-Mobile cell service but the CG does have wifi. Store was open, cafe was closed. Bathrooms are outdated and dirty. $20/$10 with interagency pass. Solar production is good.

Camped here the end of April 2017. The sites were a little short. Have a 35 ft fiv-er and used every inch of the site. This is a National Recreation area so there was a $20 entrance fee then $20 a night. There are no hook-ups but water is available around the park. Found it very dirty, Park service put out lots of dumpsters but campers didn't seem to want to use them. A dump station is located at the Upper Cottonwood Cove Campground. The campground is near the lake with a nice beach. Store and Cafe within walking distance.
Richard would stay here again

Six Mile Cove
Lovely little cove but the six miles of washboard road and limited cell signal means we won't be back
