Good spot for an overnight stop. Area is uneven and we did need use blocks to level. Also large pile of gravel in the center. We are 35’ 5th wheel and had plenty of room. There are also a few turn outs down the road for more Boon-docking opportunities. The view is beautiful.

Nice big area. Enough for 3 separate RV families or a group of 5 RVs. After a couple of quiet nights, the local public works decided they needed to place more gravel on the sight. Woke up to dump trucks surrounding the RV with piles of gravel and a seemingly passive-aggressive 1 finger solute. Haven't left yet, but I know it's coming....

About 10 minutes from the visitor centre in downtown Whitehorse, about 5 minutes driving on a good gravel road. Large gravel pull out with beautiful views over Long Lake. Pass the busy parking area at the Long Lake boat launch and continue up the hill to get there.
Area is gravel footing but not particularly level so be sure to bring blocks with you to level up your rig. Pull out is adjacent to a gravel road so it may be dusty particularly if conditions are dry but the road is not very busy.
No amenities at all but no signs prohibiting overnight parking. Note there are other areas along this road where you could do some backcountry camping depending on your rig. We camped farther down off a dirt road that was decidedly 4wd and high clearance only. However this area would be accessible to anyone.
Some dog poo at the site but little to no litter. Yay! Bell Canada signal good. My AT&T hasn't worked anywhere in the Yukon. Wifi available at the Whitehorse Visitor Centre.

“This spot is now CLOSED”
noted 9/15/2023
This spot now has a "No Camping" sign. But there is a similar spot another 1/4 mile down the road that does not have the sign.
