It was a clean, quiet campground. No bugs whatsoever other than spiders in the washrooms.

The negative. There was a good bit of trash. Not only at our site but at other empty sites as well. Camp host site looked messy so I assume they weren’t too motivated to pick up other sites if they weren’t going to keep theirs picked up.
Overlook that and the fact it’s a basic camp location with minimal amenities and you will be okay.

We pulled into this campground hoping to spend a night but there was ZERO cell service so we had to move on (we have to stay connected for work).
However, it is very well kept and the river running by is beautiful! We would return on a weekend when we didn’t have work.

We went into Beaver after our harvest host at the golf course down the road was kinda not what we wanted. This campground is closed for the season so we didn’t actually get to stay here.
However the road goes along a creek and after calling the Ranger office we were told that we could stay anywhere off the road.
We found a great spot next to the creek. In the morning we drove up through thinking we could drive straight through on our way to Bryce but google maps didn’t tell us that at about 10,000ft up the road turns into a very rough in maintained road that is NOT advisable for trailers.
The drive did teach us about all the great free camping spots and the ski resort at the top.

Pine and Cottonwood covered 14-site campground charmingly rests beside the crystal clear Beaver River. We arrived after an 11-hour drive from our Central Coast, CA home base tired and ready for an adult beverage. This campground was easily accessed 6-7 miles outside of the wee town of Beaver. We stayed in Site 10, which was a nice size and all sites are incredibly level! It included a picnic table, fire ring, and a lovely framed/level gravel pad for any tent campers! We were impressed! The site clearly hadn’t been picked clean, as there were lots of cigarette butts, popsicle sticks, and wipes in the fire ring. What is lovely about this site is it extends beyond with small trails that lead to nowhere, but our 2 dogs appreciated a little more room to sniff and relieve themselves. Sadly, though, there was even more trash beyond the site on said walkways. Clearly the sites aren’t being cleaned daily as we didn’t arrive until 9 pm Utah time.
From all sites you can hear the relaxing lull of the Beaver River, and seeing as we were here in July it was incredibly peaceful to fall asleep with open windows. It gets immensely hot here in the daytime in summer (temps were over 100 degrees according to our iPhones!) which is why we just kept driving until evening time. What is most beneficial about this campground is 1) the sound of the river, and 2) all the trees that provide for LOTS of shade. The road is right across from the campground (the river divides the two) but cars only went by every once in a while, so we would definitely stay here again! Next time, we will visit in cooler months so the daytime temps are manageable. Two handicap sites provided with wonderful level concrete pads.

The camp host on this trip was very friendly and helpful. They sell wood bundles for $6.
The camp has separate male and female restrooms with flush toilets. And, enough drinkable site faucets that almost every site has 1.
There are 2- accessible sites, and actual tent pads, not just a tent area.
The Beaver river runs right in the campground, with an accessible area, completed with a park bench to sit on.
There is also a group fire pit.

As far as I could tell all the sites were level. SUPER quite. At one time we were the only people in the campground (even on Memorial Day weekend). No cell service. Drinking water next to every site. Site #10 was the best. Beaver River right next to the campground. Awesome fishing lakes above this campground. Multiple dump stations and potable water in Beaver. The Creamery had really good ice cream.

This has been a favorite place for me and my family for a long time. It is a delightful place to stay in the spring and fall. It gets a little hot in the summer, and we go further up the mountain then. It is a small campground, and is always clean. Road noise is sometimes a little noisy, as the road is just on the other side of the creek. We have seen eagles, hawks, and many other birds here. Deer are a common morning treat here. There is no hookups or dump station. Water faucets are available in several places in the campground.

The campground is right across the river from the road, but there's very little traffic so noise wasn't a problem. We pulled in at about 6:30pm on a Saturday night and got the last site. The host was pleasant and helpful and the bathrooms (flush toilets and running water) were very clean. There were water spigots every 2-3 sites.
