This was a bit out of the way for me to get to but I enjoyed the location to on very much. Entering the conservatory you get on a dirt road. The road goes on for about 20 minutes. There are places to pull over along the road as well as some bigger areas to park and camp. One spot has what seemed to be a bathroom facility and then a water well pump. At the end of the road over the small bridge there is a spot to load canoes or a small boat. Along the dirt road there are two chances to make a right turn or a left turn down two separate roads. After my stay I went down the road to the left (facing going into the conservatory). This road is slightly narrow and there are two spots that, depending on the hight of the water, will be blocked as it dips lightly into a stream/river. My 19ft Pleasureway did fine getting past them. It was well worth it because there is a beautiful body of water that leads into a larger river with areas to camp. I use AT&T towers and depending how far in you go (specifically how low you go) there is no service. If you are higher up on the terrain then there is service. Anywhere from 1-4 bars. During the day it has mild traffic with anyone from local hunters, canoers, Amish, or horseback riders that come during the day to enjoy the outdoors. This conservatory is a nice little gem with a lot of options on where to camp. I recommend it!

Had the place to my self most of the time. Good hiking lot of wildlife with fire rings and clean toilet. Has a mennonite store near by with most anything you would need in the way of food or ice.

“A Great Spot!”
Reviewed 10/10/2018
We've camped here the last couple of years for long weekends. Four actual sites that are on a road leading to the river. Great of hanging out in the summer. Lots of horse trails and camping is further away.
The four sites are primitive but we did have a fire pit. There is a vault toilet up by the horse camping.
