There were dozens of empty spots yet they put us in unlevel and all sun spot, back to the office we go. Told us we could upgrade for more money but then she found a spot that was level and all sun. Pull up to it and the electrical box is locked,we wait again. Call to get a ride to the casino and they show up in a golf cart and immediately we are almost thrown out as he gunned it on acceleration. If you want to use the pool or beach you need a wristband. YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR IT from koa office they don’t ask if you want one.

Unattended dogs left in campers to bark all day, Young and old alike walking through campsites, Kids playing ball bouncing balls of RVs, Kids playing hide and go seek around and under RVs ( but they're was nothing else for them to do here). Entrance Road has many potholes, and very muddy when it rains. No charcoal grills or campfires gas only. Never used the restrooms. Two bars Verizon calls ok but no internet had better on the poor campground connection.

Overall:
Had to stay here for a week in April 2021 and Feb 2022 for travel planning / route purposes. The weather is nice and it works for a place to park and get work done. Not a terrible place. Just nothing notable to stick around for with the sites being so tight and such.
The casino is one minute away, so if that is your thing, this could be a really nice stop. You could walk to it, or take the complimentary valet (person takes you over in a golf cart)
Cell—Service is not great. We have Verizon and AT&T. Both struggled at 2 out of 4 bars. Sometimes just 1 bar.
Wifi—Actually works well enough. Not great but enough for light work.
Noise—Fireworks from the casino each night. We like them but some folks might not like the noise.
Location—About 2 miles from food, groceries, etc.
Gas—There is a gas station a 1/4 mile from the entrance (Diesel and Gas)
Stay again—Can't say we would stay here if we didn't need to. But, here we are. :)

Not too noisy in general, just people with their boats or sand toys. The situation is kept in check by security. No pool inside the RV park, but staying here includes pool and beach privileges at the Avi Casino across the street, right on the River.
The location is a little off highway 95, down a two-lane road.
Be aware that they allow guests to shoot off fireworks during a set hour each evening at the nearby beach. It can be a little loud for some pets.

DO NOT STAY HERE! When I arrived it was dark. I pulled into my site and tried to connect to what was supposed to be fresh water. The hose bib broke off in my hand sending water shooting into the air soaking all of my rig, trailer and me. I called the front desk and they said someone would come out. Twenty minutes later I had to call again as no one had been sent. After waiting 30 minutes in saoking wet cloths security finally arrived. They said that this was an issue at other sites in the park as well. The next day, after filling my water tanks the water stopped flowing through my filter. My tank hold only 16 gallons and other than washing hands and using the RV bathroom no other water was used by my rig. Turns out that the "fresh' water supply is polluted with what looks like oily coal sand. While unhooking the water this black coal poured out of my pressure regulator and the filter was totally plugged, Some of this garbage did get into my fresh tank. The gentleman from the site next door came over and asked if I had issues with the water, He didn't use a filter and sad that while brushing his teeth he felt sand in his mouth! I checked the site I had been assigned to originally, and found this black dust and sand on the ground around the broken hose connection.
I went to the KOA office and told the lady behind the desk what had happened to me and the gentleman next door. I offered to show her my pictures as well but she was not interested in them. Her response was "The water here is disgusting. I wouldn't give it to my dog, I wouldn't use it to make coffee" Clearly the staff is aware that there is a problem and yet allowed guests to unknowingly drink the polluted water, This park is a public health hazard!

It was a pull in site facing the golf course. If I hadn’t asked I would have been stuck in the sun! The staff were efficient but not overly friendly. There is a gas station very close which was great. The Nevada roads to the park are awful, full of bumps and dips, take it slow!

The casino isn’t bad but payout rates suck. It does have a great beach, A very nice pool you can use if you’re in the campground, movie theater, entertainment venues, sports gambling, restaurants, arcade and children’s play areas. But they will take your money quickly. Just beware. This campground is okay for a short period but I wouldn’t want to be here a long time.
