There are 10 sites, 2 of which are posted that you can stay 24 day as opposed to 15. The pit toilet building was closed but there were 2 pot-a-potties. They were remarkably clean. The road in is oiled dirt and the sites are mostly level sandy dirt. We hiked the Trail Between the Lakes that starts at the campground and rode our bicycles on the road. We also drove into Hemphill and had lunch at a delightful coffee shop.

The view on the water (sites 4, 5, and 6) are amazing. There is water (from a well) and there were portages-potties as the restroom building was closed due to Covid. No dump.
Solar was tough. We got about 4 solid hours on mobile panels and the rest was filtered through the trees. Our panels are not roof mounted so we were able to maximize our charge by moving our panels with the sun. Any other campers that came and went during our stay ran generators.
Stock up on groceries before you come. The nearest grocery store is about 25 minutes.
T-Mobile was not good at all here but our AT&T hotspot got the job done.

My husband and I tent camped here last summer. It is so peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. It is right on Lake Toledo bend. We stayed there on several different occasions last summer for multiple nights at a time in June-September. We pretty much had the whole area to ourselves except for July 4th holiday. It was full at that time. There are 2 port a potties there that are kept surprisingly clean. There are 2 water spigots there as well. You can swim in the lake or put your boat in using the provided boat ramp, or take a hike a nearby trails. The area is heavily wooded which provides plenty of shade. It is one of our favorite places to camp.
