I confirmed vacancy with him. Great little quiet camping area on a lake. All sites are well shaded. Bathroom / shower facilities are average or slightly below. Clean, but nothing special. T-Mobile cell service was 1-2 bars. Good place to stay for a few quiet nights. Trailer pads are quite small. I wouldn’t recommend any big rigs.

We run in a 40’Bus , thankfully number 13 was open, it took a little jockeying , but we got in and level . Sweet spot , wouldn’t try it again . Number one would have worked also but didn’t see it until we were p asked as its right by office

There are 15 sites with 30 amp and water. We managed to get #13 at top of hill that does not have a pad, which is actually a plus. It took a u-turn at top loop at dump site and some jockeying to get our 28' toy hauler with one ton truck backed in. I was glad I did not have to try one of the other sites as I could not have used the back ramp to unload, due to uneven ground. The manager is a helpful sort of fellow.
The electric is marginal and I noticed at our end of camp the voltage would go as low as 107 volts. The summer time would be a problem with others using AC. We were warned by another guest that the dump would overflow and he was right. So, that is a definite problem that should be addressed.
There is nice fishing here in the small lake and it is quite pretty. A short nature trail describes some of the local trees. I came here and rode the trails in nearby DeSoto National Forest. This is near Camp Shelby and we heard a lot of far off artillary fire. Good to know our soldiers are prepared.

Just a few miles off of US 98 between Mobile AL and Vicksburg, MS. Nice level concrete pads. Wooded sites on hillside above a pretty fishing lake with several fishing piers. Good stop, will be back again.

There was a lot of noise when we were there - a local military base was messing around with artillery, but it sounded more like thunder and didn’t bother us too much.
The groundskeeper whips around on a tractor or a golf cart, and this was kind of obnoxious, but he’s a very friendly man! There were only two other campers when we stayed, and about 12 available spaces.
