My second time here at Lake Corpus Christi State Park. With full hookups standard price is $25 per night. However, there is also a $4/per person, per day, park entrance fee. Although I believe this is intended primarily for day use, campers are charged as well. The good news is, you can get a Texas State Parks pass for $75 per year. That gets you free entry into all State Parks (for everyone in your vehicle). It also gets you a $12.50 discount on one night for each reservation. The park itself is located on Lake Corpus Christi so ample access to water (boating, fishing, etc). Like some other Texas State Parks I've been to, most sites are like half circles, and some can be challenging for longer rigs. Spacing is pretty tight and privacy doesn't exist. I come here because it's warm in Dec/Jan and the price is pretty good for full hookups. Elec/water sites are only $20 per night.

Easy check-in, they give you a refund for 1/2 off the 2nd night ($12.50) with your annual state park pass. We were in the full hookup loop (Javelina), all the utilities worked well (50A/W/sewer). We were able to hike over 3 miles in the park by combining trails. Park was very quiet, even though Javelina loop was full. Our site was level, most others looked level as well. They are building a new bathroom/shower building next to this loop. Lake was nice with a large fishing pier.
Close to Mathis, where there are restaurants and an HEB.
Good AT&T cell coverage, streamed without the booster. A;so tuned in 20+ HDTV channels

The campground layout is interesting -- all pull through sites that are staggered on either side of a looped road. Good distance between sites. Nice covered picnic table and fire pit. Good hookups. A number of well worn trails for hiking. A beautiful lake for gorgeous sunsets (and fishing if you're into that). Clean restrooms. All in all a very nice place to hang out.

The park is undergoing some construction but is not in the way of RV traffic or activities. The site we stayed in was a pull-through but the cement pad was uneven. Nothing a couple of blocks didn't fix. The park is under a burn ban and the area is very arid. There are ample spaces between the sites.

I was in a water only site. No trees around so I had a nice view of the lake, which is quite large. The CCC Pavilion, built 1934-35 is beautiful. Good walking trails and a bird blind to watch Cardinals, mainly. I was in Catfish Loop and the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade.

Great water Presure (60lbs), 2 bars Verizon, full hookup, level but asphalt crumbling although a 20’ section was concrete. Great covered picnic table with lots of space in this site. 4 large trees for shade, close to bath house and lake. Crowed on the weekend but calmer during the week. Sites pretty far apart like most TX State Parks.

Enjoyed a pull-through site under tall trees a short walk from the lake. Power and water at site. Dump station was pretty sloped. Showers were not warm. Bathrooms clean. Good trails. ATT service was off and on.

We stayed here for a few nights around Christmas time. There was good privacy between the sites and my kids enjoyed biking around the park and playing in the sand at the beach. I also liked that our site had a covered picnic table, as well as a fire pit and grill. As others mentioned, there are 2 different loops - one with full hookups and one with electric & water only.
We also saw lots of birds and plenty of deer. The best time to go to the birding area is in the morning, when the put food out for the birds.
If you are staying for more than a few nights (or staying at other state parks in Texas), definitely consider buying the Texas State Parks Pass - it's good for 1 year and gives 50% off the second night and covers the day-use fee.

“We didn’t stay, just a information”
noted 11/29/2022
We didn’t stay, because wanted just short overnight stay, and for two persons it cost 20$ - it’s not just 10$ for camping (the cheepest), but also 5$/per person for visit.
Greetings, @roadtripcatchers
