Overall Rating
Fredericksburg is a historic town in the midst of TX Hill Country. Strong German settler influence dating baaack to early 1900's. German farmers built city homes here to use on weekends when they came in for church and shopping. Small loft type homes built from local timber and limestone rock on small city lots lace the streets. Very q... more
Fredericksburg is a historic town in the midst of TX Hill Country. Strong German settler influence dating baaack to early 1900's. German farmers built city homes here to use on weekends when they came in for church and shopping. Small loft type homes built from local timber and limestone rock on small city lots lace the streets. Very quaint now as a retirement village and vacation homes for city folk. Very Yuppified now. Fashionable shopping, eating and the center for touring the hills surrounding here during the blue bonnet bloom. It is spectacular.
The C/G is large,well spaced, clean and well managed. Various rates are available depending upon the season of the year and length of time you want to stay. Located next to city airport runway which is fun watching the air commuters come and go.
