The club house was nice and the bathrooms clean.

I pull a 43-ft 5th wheel with a long-bed F350 crew cab and they knew this when we booked the site, told us they can easily accommodate us. Site 27 requires either pulling all the way forward or all the way back, barely leaving enough room for the truck and this guy treated me like an idiot because HIS site wasn't any longer. Once set up, I avoided these people and was glad when our stay ended.
I, too, couldn't access their WiFi due to anti-virus software but had decent coverage with Verizon. We didn't use any amenities offered, either. As mentioned by others, the red-gravel pads are not as messy as caliche, but it still sticks to your shoes- especially when wet!

Check-in was – well, they hand you a map, show you where your site is and send you on your way. The park is mostly long term which surprised us since it is wine country. We love wine and that’s why we came but we were not willing to pay the exorbitant prices they charge. The wineries are quite proud of their product. Back to the park. The roads are paved but the sites are teeny tiny red gravel. Needless to say, you drag it all over especially when wet. And it was very wet when we were there. It is so irritating. The interior roads are a bit tight maneuvering for large RVs, and the trees need a good trim. Our site was level and plenty long enough for our 45-foot MH and toad. Sites are nearby with some sites having more space than others. Each site has a “rustic” picnic table on a concrete pad. Our virus software wouldn’t let us use their WII FI so we don’t know if it works or not. Verizon was 4g 3-4 bars so we were able to use our hot spots. Satellite is possible in some sites. The campground map shows that there is a trash bin up by the restrooms/laundry which is in the middle of the park. I found out the hard way by slogging up there from the back row in 27 degree weather that there actually isn’t one. The only trash bins are at the front of the park as you exit – really? We heard traffic noise off and on and some type of heavy equipment sound but we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The trip here, sadly, was a fail.

We arrived after hours and our information was attached to the bulletin board outside the office. It was very easy to find our site and pull-through. Our site was level and we had no issues with the electricity, sewer, or water. Every site has a picnic table, which was nice. We were pleased to see that everyone seems to pick up after their pets. At least half the park was full of full-timers and winter Texans. Everyone we met was friendly and easy to talk to. There was only two nights out of 12 that people were laughing and partying up late in the night, but that doesn't really bother us. We love to hear the sounds of life coming back, after dealing with Covid shut-downs for so long. The laundry room was beautiful, even though we never used it. The park is clean, has some nice trees, a cute little duck pond, and a very nice koi pond with a deck and patio seating. There's also a sweet memorial bench and park area to remember people from the park's past. One of our favorite parts of this area was the food truck park next door. They were open often and the food was wonderful. We highly recommend the ribs from Derek at "What Cha Got." Delicious!

The park was bigger than I expected. Felt like there was plenty of room between us and neighbors. Visited over Thanksgiving and they offered a family style dinner. Great location to bike to downtown and also drive to wineries. Would stay here again!

I would stay here again because closest RV park to wonderful historic Fredericksburg. We were in their over-flow section which is at front of campground. Large spacious site. Everything very clean & staff friendly. At end of summer traveling, I would love to stop here again on way back to Los Angeles.

Let me start by saying how excited we were to get to Fredericksburg. When we made our reservations, our leave date was open. It was decided that we would give them the exact date of departure upon arrival. We had a range, but it wasn’t exact. So when we pulled up, the office was closed. We weren’t aware that it would be. They had our papers outside and had already charged our card with the date they chose for us to leave. NOT COOL! Like they didn’t even call us.
The sites are on top of one another. My awning almost hits the camper in front of us. To add to the clutter around us, this place isn’t a campground. It’s a trailer park! This place is a hot mess. The photos on the website definitely don’t match the reality. They have 3 rows for overnight campers and the remaining is permanents. If they want to target both markets, they could at least have the folks keep it clean around here. It’s a huge turnoff to overnight campers to see such a permanent mess.
To end this review, the campground had a covid breakout and the “office” didn’t even think to let anyone know. We heard it through the campground grapevine. And those that told us had all been exposed. It would have just been nice to know. So all in all it’s a mess here. I guess this is what happens when the owners aren’t even on the property.
I will say they had a very clean laundry room. Lots of washer & dryers and clean. It’s also in a good location to downtown which is nice. If you’re looking for a trailer park to live in, this is your place. If you’re looking for maybe just a night or two, it could possibly work. But if you’re looking for a nice campground for your extended vacation, I don’t recommend it.

With reservations made 87 days prior to arriving, stayed 2 nights while there to see the Fredericksburg Christmas parade. Was given a VETERAN discount.
We were assigned to Site #7 upon arrival; no pre-selection of sites available.
Shore power pole breaker at Site #7 failed 6 times (30 amp). The maintenance guy agreed pole breaker was bad and would replace, but didn't happen during our stay, so continued power interruption.
Unlevel gravel site. Tight right turn out of Site #7 due to a large building right next to the roadway. Even tighter left turn due to occupants in overflow parking.
Very well-lit at night, but wide open to the public as there are no security gates.
Being in Site #7 we were very close to Highway Street and it was noisy, so the noise along with all the Park lights made it not very conducive to good sleeping!
Cable did not function and wifi was one bar.
Six private toilet/showers "rooms" which were very clean.
Very nice Rec Center all decorated for Christmas. Schedule of events posted which included live music.
Most of Park filled with long-termers that occupy the sites in the back and away from highway noise. Some sites were junky looking in those "streets." Easy walk to the popular Main Street. HEB is about 2 miles away...walkable, but wouldn't recommend it.
