The park was clean, but our site was very small. The back of our fifth wheel was right in front of the neighbor's door. The hookups were on the right side of the RV, so we had to always walk around the back side. We could not put any chairs on that side due to all of our hookups, and we would just be looking at the back of their trailer anyway. Our picnic table was on the back side by the road. Which was OK, there was at least some grass on that side. There is a LOT of traffic going by all day long, and not much regard to the speed while we were there. The only area that is not cramped is the Camper's Loop. If we were to go back, that is the only area we would consider. There is no mention on the website of the airport. The park is right next to the runway. This really didn't bother us that much, except for the small jets taking off at 6:30AM. It was actually kind of fun to see the planes take off and land. A big plus is if you have dogs, there is a HUGE dog park. It was right across from our site. Each side had to be at least four acres. Lots of room for your dog(s) to run and play. Location wise it was easy access to town and surrounding areas. The nature trail was really nice, and volunteers were there getting it ready for spring. We are pretty adaptable, but our spot was not ideal. If you don't mind being in close proximity to your neighbors, you will be fine. Most of the spots in the main area are a 90 degree back in. We spent two nights at the Fredericksburg KOA after this, and had a much nicer site. It was more expensive, but we would stay there instead if we were to return. We had phone and internet service with AT & T. My UnlimitedToGo hotspot worked great, I was able to do my online teaching with no problems at all. Also no problems using my hotspot with our Amazon firestick.

Our site was across a dog park from a small airport. Planes quit flying at about 8 pm. It’s a wide open area with trails and adjacent to a golf course and creek. A trash bin is placed at the end of each campsite. High priced but close to Fredericksburg.

We wanted to visit Fredericksburg and decided to stay at Lady Bird Johnson to do so. The park was plenty nice but nothing overly special. The sites were level and the facilities were fine. It’s a pretty convenient location for getting downtown to check out the town. The staff was helpful too. We were lucky enough to be here while all of the flowers were blooming, and it was awesome! We enjoyed our stay in the area and if we are back, we would be happy to stay at this park again.

Flush toilets and 2 showers per male/female bathroom. Scenery isn’t particularly exciting but Fredericksburg and state parks are nearby. My husband fished and we both did some bird watching at the park’s bird feeder station. Staff was very friendly. We registered in person at the visitor center.

Our stay here was only for two nights as we headed to a nearby Harvest Host after this for two nights to explore Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas more. Lady Bird Park was a great stay. They had lots of places to walk the dogs, trails to walk, and a dog park as well. We liked our site which was at the front of the park. We were able to look out over the airpark (next to dog park) and watched the planes and helicopters take off. Only day time noise from the airpark, which there wasn't too much traffic anyway. Only downfall was that this RV park did not have laundry. We went to a local laundry mat (Hill Country Laundry) on one of our last mornings. Check in process was easy and the lady in the office was sweet. We were charged a $7.00 reservation fee which is always kind of silly to me. So for two nights, it was $87. Not too bad considering the location. Would recommend this place.

The park charges a $7 Reserve America fee regardless of whether you made reservations or not. The nightly rate was $40, with fee it came to $47. Kerrville’s beautiful city park, 22 or so miles away, was only $25 a night. Otherwise, this park is in a pretty setting and cell service is good.

Only issue I had with the place is the sites were backed right up to each other; our back-in spot, backed right up too to trailer behind us. We were within arms reach of the neighboring trailer while working at our rear dinette. Hookups for both of these sites are positioned so no matter what, we are both stepping out to the pleasant view of each others dump-pipes (less than 6 feet out our trailer door). The fact that our neighbor used a see-through elbow on their pipe really did not add to the fun... never fun to see what your neighbor ate the night before in that fashion.
For me, I'd find another place to camp if I were in this area again.

There is a separate section of the park with shade trees that has a little more cozy feel but we were in the upper area lined up with about 10 feet of concrete between us and our neighbors. The lady in the office was very friendly, keep in mind however that they only accept cash or check. Fredericksburg is a really neat town and if our schedule had allowed for it, we would have gladly stayed at the park a few extra days in order to explore the town and hill country.

They do not accept credit cards, have to pay by check or cash, but we know that coming in so it is not a problem.
Fredericksburg is also close to many other small historic towns in the area. Can't remember what time of year, think maybe June, but they are known for their peaches. They are delicious! We usually buy them by the bushel and take home to our friends.
If you are not familiar with the area, it is easy but confusing to find if you are using GPS. Coming from town on 290, just take 16 South for a few miles. They do have good State Signs on the road.
