We arrived here on a Saturday. We took a walk down to the beach which was jam packed . The dog beach, which is extremely small aside of the regular beach is so full of goose poop. I don’t know why anyone would want to even be there. This is not like Chilliwack lake where they have a beautiful beach for both people and for people and dogs.
Saturday night the people across from us had three cars in the road and were shouting, and as the night went on, they got drunker and continued to be annoying until 1:30 in the morning. We have only seen one Ranger and that was during our check-in. There is no way to contact a ranger or anyone else to discuss the noise issue. There is a sign up front that says we do not tolerate noise between 11 and seven. Now usually most provincial parks, the quiet time is between 10 and seven.
The sites vary in size, but if you can get one across from the lake do so. Then you can walk right down to the lake where there are spots where people have parked their watercraft. Unfortunately everyone sitting down there with their chairs, and all their watercraft makes it almost impossible to walk the path.
. There were bicyclers going along, and there was no way to even step out of their way. There are no E bikes allowed in the provincial park.
The lake is definitely beautiful and it seemed like there were a lot of people fishing. Not sure if they had luck catching anything.
The water issue continues. You must boil all water in the park. The dumpsite was closed, but appears to be open now, but no potable water.
Usually we see people coming as soon as others leave cleaning up the sites, we have not seen one person doing that and there are signs all over the park saying please keep your site clean for the next camper. I’m not sure if this is that they don’t have enough help at this park or who ever is managing it does not want to pay someone.
We took a hike to ridge lake or should I say we tried to but only got about 3/4 of a mile. It was so overgrown and so many downed trees that it was impossible.
They have pit toilets that are so so clean and supposedly flush toilets right across from the beach. These originally were closed but they might be open since the dump station is now opened also.
Lots of flowers in bloom maybe with the right campsite across from the lake, we would have enjoyed ourselves more.

We were traveling to Prince George with our daughter and boyfriend in separate RV's. They were going to Alaska and we would turn around in Prince George. This was a double campsite which was great for our RV's. Beau (daughter's boyfriend) had room to set up Star-link and his ham radio antenna. The park is clean, spacious, and extra space between campsites. We were boon-docking, no hook-ups. There was a water problem and water had to be boiled but that did not impact us. The park was really great with a beautiful lake, nice floating dock, and good roads. We traveled into Kamloops to their Saturday Market which was really large. Nice baked goods, some cider tastings and lots of vendors and items for the wife to shop. We had lunch at a local restaurant that was good. Returning from Prince George we almost stopped again but decided to travel further. MY HONEY II would stay here again if passing through.

Generous campground on the edge of a large lake conveniently off the highway. Large nicely spaced sites with privacy. A few have a view of the lake but most do not. Sites in the center of the campground have less trees and get more sun which is great for solar panels. Sites at each end have more trees which is great for shade on hot days. Cell reception is good in sites closer to sani-dump area. The further away the worse the reception. Great swimming area and day use park down by the lake. No hookups or showers. Fresh water fill at sani-dump. Water spigots throughout the campground but they are not threaded. Person comes by selling firewood in late afternoon/evening. Toilets are flushing which makes sites beside toilets less desirable due to the noise. 30 minute drive to Kamloops, Merit or Logan Lake.
