What do you do to hold your RV spot when you drive to town in your rig during the day? Thanks!

Look around, you should see some folks who have "tagged" their spot by roping it off with caution tape or similar means. When I needed to leave my spot, to go into town for propane or to do laundry, etc. I did so with the understanding that I might lose my spot, but there are always many, many more spots out there, even within walking distance of the pit toilets. If I wanted a change from my own cooking, I walked into town. The walk is good exercise for me.

Usually people have a ground mat, chairs, and/or other typical at camp items that they leave in place at the site. This is very common. People leave to dump tanks at the LTVA dump station, or run to town for shopping etc. People don't bother your site as long as it's obviously occupied.

We leave everything out, we pull a small Canyon truck behind the fifth wheel and use it to go to Yuma, Parker etc. people just leave chairs sitting out in motor homes.

We had a 5w, but saw many with motor homes leave chairs, line their place with flags, anything to make it look taken. :-)
