Lots of land to camp on and (mostly) friendly people. Network throughput on cellular is clogged on nearly all networks at most hours due to all the things happening in the area though - RTR, Big Tent, Camelpalooza, snowbirds, etc.

This year I was in La Posa South the full 7 months of the season +...$180 for the season which runs September 15-April15. I enjoy the amenities, easy access to water, trash, and wastewater dump. More importantly, the sense of community I've developed over the past three seasons. Good friends and a feeling of family with good people.

Half way through a two week stay. It’s a clean and well respected area. Get yourself some solar charging and get out there. Hard to beat $40 for two weeks. Comes with sewer dump, water and trash dumpsters. 70 to 75 degrees and only one day of any rain so far.

We enjoy it here. $180 for 7 months, with water, sewer dump and trash. Close to town, and I feel safe among everyone. We have made new friends, and met lots of people, from different areas of the country. What a melting pot. Can’t wait till next year.

This is a great location for some long term boondocking. Having fresh water, trash, and a dump station on site makes it easy. Most of the roads are in great shape, however once you get out to the edges you may find washes that aren't big-rig friendly. If you are planning on spending more than a few days here I strongly suggest not just taking the first open spot you find. Instead, disconnect the toad or truck and take some time to explore since there are plenty of great sites available.
We drove in a couple miles and there is plenty of space between us and our neighbors as you can see from the pictures. Our site has minimal traffic and quiet neighbors. I'm not sure if you can say the same for the sites more near the entrance, it's pretty busy down there.
We plan to return next year and stay at least a couple months.

Was close to The Big Tent and to the park where the RTR is held.
I have paid more than this for one night elsewhere and less amenities. There was BLM everywhere!
Loved it and hopefully we can come back sometime.

We stayed here for a month from early December into early January to be around others for the holidays. Plenty of space to spread out and some good views of the nearby mountains. Our nightly rate was based on the $40 for 2 week pass we bought twice instead of the whole season pass.
We moved within La Posa south once during our month just to change up views and neighbors which is one of the benefits of being here. Coordinating with friends that were arriving and setting up a great camp to reconnect while having dump and water stations nearby.
We stayed back near the "magic circle" which is a clothing optional area that many seem "scared and fascinated" by so there are many open spots just outside of that area with great views.
Quartzsite the town is busy but it's what you come here for. The big RV show, tent vendors, Beer Belly's, Silly Al's Pizza and the quirkiness that is the town.
Cell phone data is slow in this area due to all the people on the networks but Star Link was just fine for internet.
Be patient, smile a lot and remember you can move if you don't like it and I think you'll have a great time staying here and visiting Quartzsite.
