well...I understand that sites by the water are prone to flying bugs, but there's so much that makes my skin tingles just looking at them from the inside of my RV (I was there in April!)....it's a beautiful location nonetheless, by the water, view of the mountain....access is also easy.

Lots of room and nice view of the lake and mountains. Traffic noise wasn’t a factor. Only one other trailer and nobody around it. We will stay here again if in the area.

Easy access with a 25' RV, area is close to main road and camping area is flat. Once you are past the entrance with We spend one night on the lake side. No other campers, probably space for 5 rigs, although there are no demarcated sites Nice views on the lake and the scenery beyond. Because all camp sites are close to the main road, you'll have the noise of the occasional car passing by at night. Otherwise very quiet.

the lake has white caps from the wind. Google maps identified this area as Koosharem Reservoir Day Use. There are 3 others campers when we arrived. Hopefully camping is allowed here.

Stayed here for a few days, admittedly in the newer area that had just been made into open parking. Within 2 days had mice in the camper. We have killed 3 mice so far and are leaving tomorrow. The spots farther down the road that are the more established "camping spots" were taken when we arrived, perhaps they don't have mice issues down there? The pit toilets were open and in good condition for what they are and the area is relatively quiet for how close to the road it is. Thankfully of the three vehicles we have in our group, the camper is the only one to seem to have mice issues. The area may not be the best after rain/snow and it could turn into a bit of a mud hole, but if it has been dry for a while it's a neat little spot.

We stayed at the parking area. There are two concrete picnic tables, the mens and women dump toilets are clean. There is also another small circle a half mile north, also on the east side of the road with about two sites. This area is untouched from the construction.
Lots of little black spiders on the ground and some flies. I would guess we were seeing baby spiders. Highway noise was not bad. Several people drove in to use the toilets while we were there. But it was mostly quiet. Cell service (T-Mobile) was non-existent. Cell service started about mile 20. This site is at mile marker 30. 20 miles into Richfield, Utah.
Even though the temps were in the 60's in daylight, there was still some ice on the lake. It was fun to hear the geese in the distance.

Koosharem Reservoir all the water is drained and the road where you could camp is closed. We stayed at the bathrooms parking area only because we have been completely exhausted (day area).

I’m currently doing a cross country road trip from California to North Carolina and saw the great reviews for this reservoir and decided to check it out. Super clean place with bathrooms that are pretty clean and maintained. Super easy to find, only downfall was it was a bit noisy from the traffic going down the freeway.

Used this as an overnight spot on our drive down to St George. Awesome spot, our sprinter cleared the road pretty easily. Interesting terrain- We saw some dead fish and some other dead animals around where we were which was a little odd. Pretty windy first day which was great! We thought about staying but the lack of wind day 2 brought all the bugs that you could imagine. All bars with Verizon cell service, not much noise from the road nearby, and vault toilets! Didn’t use or check condition of them but they are there.
