We absolutely loved our time at Klamath River RV Park. The owner, Gary and his whole team were phenomenal. Park is stunning and quiet. You'd never know you were less than a mile from the 101 highway. Laundry room and bathrooms were clean and worked well. You are out there (this whole area is) so come with groceries and supplies, then enjoy your time! Very close to lots of hiking in various Redwood parks. Note that the sites are narrow, not sure if they added sites at some point but had we had rigs with pop outs next to us it would have been tight...however we lucked out and didn't have neighbors or when we did, they were short rigs. To compensate the sites are LONG so you have plenty of parking area and room at the back of your site to relax and enjoy the fire pit or eat at the tables that are at each site. Do not let this deter you from staying at KRRV!! The pros way outweigh this downfall. Will definitely return!

The internet is fit for non stop streaming with zero buffering. The sights are long and level. In the off season, they let one RV occupy the entire length. In the salmon season, I’m sure this gets crowded but the location and quality exceed anything else we saw in the area. Ideal for exploring Redwood!

Wonderful place for fires at sunset and coffee with the birds in the morning. The facilities are clean and well managed. We had good wi-fi, met some nice folks and had easy access to redwood hikes in the area. We just can’t say enough good things about our visit here.

This was a great spot with access to many different spots. The host was so kind and the amenities were great. Our spot was great, not exactly views of the ocean but right off it, extra big with a trail right off our site.

This is a great place to stay. What a beautiful setting right along the Klamath River! Site was grass and mostly level although we had to move a bit to hit that level spot. There are few to no shade trees in the park although the high ridge behind the park creates shade fairly early in the afternoon. Our hookup was 30 amp, which was OK since the weather was nice and cool. Cable TV was decent and site was open so satellite worked well. Picnic table available at each site. Sites are fairly narrow but long so we had no trouble parking our tow vehicle. Our motorhome is 35 ft long. Because of the closeness to the river and the geography, the ground was always damp/wet and that was a minor annoyance. Management/staff/camp host were friendly and helpful. The cell phone (Verizon) reception was bad (mostly 1 bar) and the park Wifi useless. What is it with RV parks and Wifi access? Never seen a good one yet! Park had laundry and bathroom facilities, which we did not use. There is no pool but there is a small play area for children. A small restaurant is on site but was closed when we were there, I assume due to Covid concerns. This park is close to the many beautiful state/national parks in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

The management was great, very nice and helpful. They take you to your site by golf cart. Passport America is good for half price at $24/night.
Everything was fine except their internet connection was very also and unreliable. I think they use satellite for internet, and their satellite antennas are getting covered by the trees, hindering the quality of signal. The internet went out about 10 times during my one day stay, not to mention is was very slow when it worked. Since Verizon and ATT cellular signals are non existent at this location, we had to leave. We need the Internet to work, so we couldn't stay another night, even though we wanted to.

The only thing that is less than ideal is how close the river front spaces are to each other. However they are long pull thrus so everyone set up camp in the front of their rigs to enjoy the views. There's a cute coffee shop that the owner works in the morning. Coffee is free and he charges a pittance for expresso, cappuccinos etc. Cute little park for the kids to gather and play and a lower landing that can be fished off of. I can't comment on the bathrooms or the laundry as we didn't use them. Only 30 minutes from Crescent City and Trinidad.

We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2019. It is right on the Klamath river. We had a forest spot and you could not see the river from our trailer but you could from the river front spots. RV sites are very close together but pretty deep (spots are approx 20 ft wide). Fire rings are shared between trailers and there is approx. one for every two RV sites in the forest area. Fire rings are located across the drive way in front of the river for river view spots. The beach is a shot 3 mile drive down the road. Very close to Trees of Mystery. They have a coffee shop on site that is open every morning that serves specialty coffee ($3.50) and hot chocolate ($2.50). We had no cell service through AT&T and their internet did not work for us at all.

I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5 because Wifi was terrible. I asked the owner if there is anyway to improve it and he explained that there is really no infrastructure in this area to support good quality wifi and communications. Your cell phone probably won't work either; we use ATT. For that you will have to head to Crescent City.

THIS PLACE...just awesome. Sites are a little tight, but we had some of the friendliest neighbors we've ever had (even though they were windshield-shaming me until I cleaned mine LOL!) and one of the best views we've ever had while RVing. Incredible stay, looking forward to going back and spending more time.
