Anyone used Starlink here? Looks to be a lot of obstructions so wondering if anyone got decent SL coverage?

Park has new owners. They are very friendly and helpful. Small but fun playground. Clean laundry and bathrooms.

We were here for 3 nights during a very quiet and empty time at Kamp Klamath. There was a rare August rainstorm ( on our last day) dumping 3.6 inches in a little over 24 hours during our stay. It was crazy and fun at the same time!
We are in a tiny trailer but stayed in a grassy, electric and water hookup tent site (A-25) way in the western edge of the campground loop.
There were a few hardy tent campers scattered about in this section, but because of the rainy weather it was basically deserted. If the campground would have been full, it would be terribly loud, crowded and a lot of the sites are crazy close together with zero privacy. However we lucked out!
We enjoyed our site in an opening for good sunshine the first 2 days. There are trees, bushes, ferns, and blackberries all around the property.
The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. And the whole Park and Campground was neat, tidy, and well cared for. Cute little camp store located in the office as well. Bathhouse's clean. Old truck tire rims for fire rings worked fine. Plenty of firewood for sale, delivered to your camp spot.
Lots of scenic drives, hiking, and site-seeing in the area. No actual hiking per say on the property, but there are a few strolling pathways. No direct river access either, just a swampy side shoot of the Klamath River.

There are much nicer places near here for about 75% of the cost.

What a great find! All staff were super friendly and helpful. The grounds were well-maintained and provided a variety of amenities. We only booked two nights, but were able to visit several attractions nearby. Kamp Klamath was perfect for our Redwood Forrest experience! We will be back!

Tried my super powered ATT antenna and got nothing. The staff reported that Verizon is the only stable cell carrier there. Super clean facility with a lot of great features! The park is an excellent starting point to go to multiple attractions in the area. My favorite was cork screw tree about 15 min south. Amazing! Will definitely come back again!

Overall we were satisfied with our stay at Kamp Klamath! We had a spacious area for our van and plenty of room for the dogs. It would have been beneficial prior to booking or in the confirmation email if they sent over info like winter store hours, trash closure times, and laundry facility information (coins only). They are only open for ~2hrs in two separate time increments which is absolutely ok in the winter, we just weren’t expecting that as their website has different store hours.
One other thing to note is because this is in the woods, we had a mountain lion sighting in the tent camp area near the showers. It was completely empty over there but just want people to be aware of their surroundings and know how to handle something like this. Eventually the cat went away but after some time of sizing us up. After many years of camping in CO I’ve never had a sighting, so this was surprising to me.
Overall great location, nice to have hookups/dump area, and warm showers.

Had no electricity first night due to wild fire which was totally understandable but there were two temporary toilets which were locked at the time. No shower or flush toilet on site. Need to walk over to other loop. For paying extra $ for FHU? Not worth it. Didn't check but other loop (B) seemed better situated. Decided to stay only 1 night wasting the 2nd night fee.

Looking at maps, we thought we’d be able to take the Coastal Trail all the way into the park on our e-bikes… not so. We had to come back via Hwy101. Yikes!
Nevertheless, a nice park. Sites in the loop are pretty much tail to tail. You cannot avoid the neighbors behind you.
The river trail is tainted by the threat of bear in the area.
We did see a bear on the coastal trail and also on the road that leads to the park.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
