Overall Rating

The campground is located within 20-30 minutes of D.C. It's also surrounded by a golf course and next to a busy road off base, so it's fairly noisy. The check-in/office is also located in another building on the other side of base.

The building that used to be the check-in/office still contains area pamphlets, a pool table pushed up against the wall (which I was told is sold, but not moved out), a foosball table with no ball, and a few board games.

As for the sites themselves, ours was on a concrete pad, full hookup with picnic table, grill, and fire pit. The sites on the interior do not have a sewer hookup, but there is a dump station nearby.

There are 5 showers in the women's restroom and several toilets.
