We arrived at sunset. No one was here. Mainly a big parking lot loop with picnic tables on the other side of fencing so we pulled up to the closest opening by the closest picnic table. There were 3 bathrooms, one of which was flush toilets with paper and a Soni and it had solar lighting at night.
Barb would stay here again

We wanted to see the little Sahara which has sand dunes that rise 700 feet so staying in the park seemed like the best solution. The Jericho loop is really just that; a large asphalt loop where you pull over and set up camp. There are water spigots located around the look and clean bathrooms to enjoy as well as covered picnic tables that you can "claim" if you park near one. This loop also does not allow OHV's in the loop or in a large area in the sand dunes around the loop. We hiked through the sand dunes and rand down the large dune behind us without ever worrying about an off-road driver getting near us. The loop was pretty empty while we were there with only three other rigs on the other side for 1 night.
Dump stations were right near the exit to the Jericho loop and trash bins were there as well. They are about 1 mile away from the Jericho loop. Other camping areas in the Little Sahara provide a less parking lot experience but they were all more crowded with OHV's everywhere so for us, this loop was just about perfect. Climb to the top of the dune and you get incredible vistas all around. Run and jump down the dune and you feel like you are floating in space!!! A fun stop!
PROS:
Beautiful setting
Camping to meet most tastes
Easy access to dumps and fresh water
Sand!!!
CONS:
Sand
OHV noise, but it was made for them so you can't get to upset!
