We pulled in and you have to go through a secured gate and check in, the price was high but we needed to pull over and tired. We got our site and drove around a couple of times trying to find it, the site was all mud, the cement pad was dirty from previous camper and it felt like it was going to fall in a collapse after all the rain and snow. We didn't get any code to laundry or WiFi, drove up to office and there was about 5 employees talking and joking. I stood there and nobody asked if I needed anything so I asked and it felt like I interrupted a conversation. I went back and, we'll never come back here again. So disappointed.

I paid $113/night for a pull through during the week and $201 for Sat night.
The train and highway noise is pretty bad. Ear plugs at night recommended. But who cares, you can deal with the noise for the great water park and activities for kids. Water park with a wading pool for really little ones, several water slides, another pool, mini golf, mini bowling, arcade, kids activities, playground. The sites are wide and not on top of each other but since everything is new there are no trees and no privacy between sites. We were able to get 3 cars parked next to our trailer, 2 trucks in front and a car behind when we had family visiting. Everything was really clean. They were picking up trash but not on any sort of schedule and I didn't want our bags sitting there all day so we just brought them to the dumpster on site. It's easy to get around and not too large that you can't walk to everything, but they do rent golf carts. Also, since it is new all the hookups are new too and work great. No rusty old fresh water faucets with no pressure. Layout is done well and the pull throughs are angled and super easy to pull into. Our site was pretty level, didn't take much to get it level side to side or front to back. I managed to get a couple Mbs off Verizon which I relied on because the wifi here is horrible. Weak signal along with typical congestion at night. I even "upgraded" for $15/week of 10/2Mbs and never got it. We'd stay here again for sure despite the noise.
Closer to an access point I got 22Mbs from their wifi.

We stayed her for 3 weeks starting May 6 2021 while getting medical and other things done in the south Denver metro region. The last time we stayed in the Denver area we stayed in Golden, and this park is much more convenient for us. We’d stay here again only for that convenience. We had to move sites as we could only stay 2 weeks max per site. The second back in site we had completely flooded right at our door when a big rain storm came in. They had 1 set of washers and dryers so we used a laundromat in Castle Rock. The brochure we got at check in said to leave trash out at the site, and when we did, it was not picked up. I asked the office and was told they weren’t picking up trash due to lack of staff. If they had told us that at check in, it would have been better. Since they didn’t tell anyone how to deal with trash, there were bags out at sites for days, which blew around in the wind and blew trash around the grounds. AT&T and Verizon cell service was horrible at the entire park. WiFi not secure so worthless to us. Checking in at the kiosks was ok for us as they were open, but many times they were not and no sign told arrivals where to go, so they backed up at the gates.
This park wants to be a premium park but it’s still under construction and they need to up communication to make it easy for customers.

Pads were gravel but were level, easy maneuverability in and out of sites (37’ travel trailer). WiFi and cell signal were atrocious, but if visiting during season when all amenities are open, I’d imagine you’d hardly be on the web. Train runs pretty frequently right next to the park, but our family of 5 were able to sleep through.

Do not winter camp here. Park was just updated (and still under construction) and opened Jan 8, 2021 for “winter Rv campers”. Yeah no they weren’t ready. We arrived at 4:30 pm and all of the spigots were already frozen. We are accustomed to this so we knew what to do. Wrapped it with heat cord and insulated it with some extra black foam we had, then waited an hour or two. The water never unfroze. The weather was only in the 20’s at night... that’s not that cold for winter. We also have a heated hose. Woke up this morning almost out of water to flush the toilet with so went to the bathrooms to try and use theirs and see if they have a shower. ALL of their bathrooms open overnight are “CLOSED”. There’s like 6 stalls right next to our site and we can’t use them. So they don’t offer 24 access to bathrooms and their water doesnt work at our site...tell me how this is a winter ready camp?!
Pros: wide drives to pull in. Propane fireplaces at each spot. Gravel so not too dusty. HUGE dog park. Lots of amenities.
Cons: read above and no amenities are open. Basically dry camping with electricity. Wahoo. Also....right next to interstate and TRAIN.

We stayed at Jellystone for a week when our generator was having issues - had intended to boondock but needed hookups. It's a very family-friendly campground. It was full to the brim Friday-Sunday afternoon, and absolutely barren the rest of the week - to the point that nobody is staffed at the front. It felt very ghost-town like during the week, but no complaints for what it was.
Mini golf was fun - didn't use the pool because there were a decent number of people there and didn't feel comfortable with social distancing. There are deer mingling outside every afternoon. Spaces are totally fine - more spacious than many RV parks we've stayed at. Bring your own 5 propane if you want to use their propane firepits which are at each space.
It's not really convenient to anything though. It's 30+ miles to Colorado Springs, about 35 minutes to Garden of the Gods, no restaurants near by (although apparently they have some here that open weekends as I understand it.) The sites are fairly level. There are two dog parks. It's not bad - it's just not...great. I think we're spoiled since we enjoy staying in the middle of nowhere, but this was "fine."
Noise - trains go DIRECTLY past the park a couple times a day and once a night. Freeway noise is still loud since the trees they've planted haven't been established yet. It's very new and under construction still. Our neighbors left on a Sunday morning and by Wednesday afternoon nobody had come around to pick up all the trash they left, so I eventually just did it myself because I didn't want it getting blown away. It is really really a stark and peculiar change between Saturday night and Monday morning. It feels...weird. Don't stay here if you don't like kids.
It's closed half the year - Oct through May.

Campground overlooks Highway (no noise) and two sets of train tracks (minimal noise). Kids paradise with two pools, water park structure, mini-golf, playground,
Lookout tower and multiple crafts and events scheduled every day. Live music every night. On property restaurant. Golf carts for rent to use throughout the park. Yogi Bear as the mascot makes sense because the bears come out at night. One ransacked the site across the road from us and the next night the park ranger warned us that five bears were onsite and they were busy shooing them away.

Bring your own tank to use the pit. You can rent cabanas and golf carts, not really needed but was nice. the park might be close to the highway, but we heard very little road noise. There are some trains that go by a few times a day, the roar from those engines didn't bother us though. They do have wifi, and if you want to pay you can get faster wifi for streaming. It's just like most hotels logging into it. We are definitely going to be going there again. Yeah it's expensive but it was good for the kids
