This was my 3rd stay at Isleta RV Park. This time, I chose a gravel site instead of the concrete sites I've used before. The gravel sites are actually nicer than the concrete sites. The sites are level and include a covered picnic table and grill (the concrete sites do not have these). The gravel sites are $10 less than the concrete sites. The only drawback is the sites are a bit short for a big rig and car. I fit, barely. There are trains that come through but they stop running at 10 pm so it's not too bad. The park has a fishing pond and a general store. There are also 2 gas stations just outside the park and the gas is quite a bit cheaper here (reservation land). This has become my go-to place when I have to stay in Albuquerque. The biggest drawback to this park is they do not take reservations but even over the 4th of July weekend, there were plenty of spaces available.

The park offers gravel and concrete pads. The gravel sites have picnic tables; the concrete sites do not but do have grills. All sites have full hook-ups. A local friend told me the fishing is good but I didn't fish while I was there.
Good Sam's discount available.
If you are headed NB on I-25 and need a place to stay in Albuquerque, this is a great location as you don't have to go into the city but is only a few miles to the I-25, I-40 split.

Gravel sites are $16 less than ones with a concrete pad. We chose a gravel site. It was level but gravel was non existent. Roads throughout the campground are supposed to be gravel but are in desperate need of gravel. If it rained they would be a mess. Toilet areas were clean but showers needed cleaning. We just needed a place to stop for the night so this was acceptable. Nice lake area to walk around. Train noise with whistle is loud. Between 5 pm and10pm six trains came by. First train in the morning was at 7:30am.

I told her having a small travel trailer, noise levels are important to know.
There is a special going on currently stay 2 nights get the 3rd free for 35.00 a night. It’s also first come first serve. Options are gravel or cement with full hookups and pull throughs.
Easy access from the highway. No covered sites. Shuttle to the casino and night guard.

We stayed here for a night on the way home from Arizona to see Albuquerque and visit some friends in town. The campground is right off the freeway so access is easy, but I don't recall hearing much freeway noise. There is a gas station on the way out of the campground which was very convenient in the morning. The site we had, and all the others around us, were pull through. The sites were level and were full hook up. The water pressure however was rather low, 20psi according to my regulator. There isn't a lot of spacing between the sites so privacy is non existent. There is wifi but it did not work great later in the evening when everyone was likely using it. We had a good cell phone signal and 81 over the air TV channels. It was very windy the night we were there. There are train tracks immediately adjacent to the campground, but we only heard one train come through while we were there and it wasn't that loud. Overall this is a good place to stay if you're visiting Albuquerque but it really isn't our style of campground for a longer stay.

We have used this campground several times on our cross country trips. The park is both convenient to I-25 just south of Albuquerque yet far enough that there is little if any freeway noise. They recently opened a new section of deluxe sites with full concrete pads. All utilities work very well. Both Verizon and T-Mobile are quite fast and able to stream HD video. There are some ponds and walking paths on the property that would make a longer stay more enjoyable. Each time we have made a midweek/offseason stop the facility was hardly full and very quiet and peaceful. From some of the other reviews I suspect that on weekend and during the peak of family camping season this place gets busy and noisy. Could be, we just haven’t experienced this.

Easy pull thru sites. Gets busy on the weekends and holidays. Sometimes locals party until security shuts them down. The showers and laundry are clean but only 2 working washers and there is no lock on shower doors. 3 bars Verizon LTE. Small fishing lake on property and near casino and golf course. I would stay here again.
