Overall Rating

My wife and I have been staying in Birdie for 3 months and have had such a pleasant experience with this small campground. The owner is extremely nice and legitimately cares about his grounds and the people who stay in them. We are full time travelers, and my wife is a travel nurse, contracted at UNM hospital. The campground is 15 minutes from the hospital. The campground is walking distance to a brewery, a Dutch bros, and a Starbucks. The campground is small, and the spots are snug, I highly recommend backing into your spot if you can.
The amenities are all top tier. The best gym I have ever used at a campground with real free weights. The bathrooms and showers are spotless and excellent. The pool is cold but would be perfect in the hot desert summers. Hot tub, playground for kids, washing machines, vending machines, covered patio area for community gatherings.
Again, the owner is amazing and the staff cares. When a visitor leaves, the maintenance team rakes the gravel and wets it down for the next customer. The owner also takes great care for security. Albuquerque is dangerous. But the team at Birdie are actively engaged in ensuring you and your rig are safe. The grounds are completely fenced in, and an electronic gate at each entrance. There is a secure mailroom that handles deliveries of Amazon and goods. The owner has plans to expand and I am excited to see what the additions bring to the community.
For travel nurses, we are many at this campground. Currently we have 5 travel nurses on the grounds.
