“Nice Area Nestled In A Forest Right On The Lake”

We came across this little jewel by chance, when we pulled in there were three campers out of 13 sites. Nice amount of space between the sites, but none of the sites were actually level, but close. No hook-ups, only pit toilets with picnic table and fire ring. Homes are very close to the perimeter sites separated by a chain link fence. Some young folks were partying and setting off fire crackers but all went quiet around 10pm.
We paid $7.50 a night as seniors!!! Very poor phone and Wi-Fi signals.
Jim Shankin would stay here again

Last year we stayed and loved it. There were only a few people and we found a somewhat level site. It was nice and quiet.
This year it definitely wasn’t. Big, barking dogs. And the stench of pot wafting through the camp. Not a little smell, a huge contact high type smell. We saw a teenager tip a 2 inch sapling over until he broke the roots and tore it out of the ground. And people just being overly loud.
Site was so un level that we had to put the rails on the stairs all the way down and put 8 inches of boards under them to get in and out. It took 6 inches on one sided of the trailer under the wheels to somewhat level it from side to side. We were going to stay 1 day, but opted to leave the next morning. Makes me sad because we were looking forward to our stay.
