Overall Rating
One of the larger pull offs in Texas. Two areas, hang to the right at the fork for less highway noise.
Trash cans are the only amenity.
You can't put your slids out but there are many spots to park

This place was an absolute dump when I tried to stop. I felt so uncomfortable I left and drove 1.5 more hours to somewhere else. You can't out your slides out either as there is no room. If you have a rig like mine where your space isn't even accessible unless your slides are out, definitely skip!

This is a decent rest stop just outside Sonora. It is a little loud and has a lot of people stopped there but if you need a rest this is a good stop. We skipped a city park that came before this stop.

We stayed one night in January. We got there around 4pm and had no trouble securing a site. There are OK bathrooms onsite. The spots for truck parking are aligned front to back against the passenger side curb so you can put slides out on that side. That part of I-10 is relatively quiet at night so we actually got a decent night’s sleep... more

That part of I-10 is relatively quiet at night so we actually got a decent night’s sleep. This is a convenient free overnight spot for this part of I-10.
