As the previous reviewer stated, this is a place that is popular for target practice. We had people come every day, but they were all respectful, even let us shoot a few rounds with their guns. Some of them even asked our permission.
They shoot near the large hill which is a separate area from the camping spot.
We loved it here and found it to be a private, simple boondocking place . We went with a group of 3 RVs and all had a great time! Plenty of space for 3 or 4rvs.
The area around the hill had lots of bullet casings which is unfortunate. Other than that it was clean and nice.
Dontmakemepullover would stay here again

Was wandering through the area and found this place. As shown in the video there is a large area to stay at the first spot on left. When I drove in there were people at this spot so I drove up the way a bit more and found another area and camped maybe two to three hundred yards away. If follow the road North a bit more go across couple of washes there is one or two more smaller sites have not been used in some time. Do not take a camper or trailer past the main area, road narrows and is almost 4x4 but did fine in my Escape. Anyways, the site was nice, good dark sky for night photos which is why I was out there. Issue is, the first site as shown in the video is evidently a gathering place for people to target practice with their firearms shooting into the butte. Woke up in the morning to a cacophony of automatic rifles, shotguns, handguns all going off. If that is what you are into, this would be an excellent place to camp out and really is a nice set-up for a shooting range -- simply I shoot with a camera not a rifle. Outside of this, the area is great and remote, no one else out there except for the Sunday Morning Gun Club. Saw a few RVs along Park Link Drive had some nice pull-out spots.
