Our site was paid for by check through a deposit box with a camera attached to it. We never met the owner personally, but spoke to him over the phone. He welcomed us to the park when we arrived and let us know where to leave the check. It was otherwise quiet besides some road noise.
It was a little tight turning in to the campground. You would need to make a wide turn on the busy highway to avoid the ditch. Getting into our spot, which was the third on the left was a little tight as well, but doable for our 40′ fifth wheel. (See overhead drone shot).
We had full hookups and no problems with any of the utilities.
We got 20 down/9 up on Starlink. 3 bars on the Verizon phones and 5 bars with the cell antenna (59/20). AT&T was 5 bars with the cell antenna (23/10). The campground also had stellar WiFi with (348/11).

Gravel sites, back in only. Made reservations via text and paid cash in drop box by shrubs. Full hookups and very quiet.

This looks like a great place to stay but they are only taking long term campers now.

Highly recommend. Asheville, Biltmore and the Blue Ridge Parkway are all less than 15 minutes away. Fred sent us detailed messages with maps and info about how to find the park and where to park the rig. Clean and well maintained. The three creekside sites each have their own paved patio, pergola and bench.

We had a nice gravel pull-through spot with plenty of room to fit both our rig and our Jeep. The only issue with our site was that the hookups were almost all the way at the front of the site, not a big deal but a good to know. No amenities but there is a laundromat about 5 minutes away in Candler. We spent a lot of time in Asheville and it was so easy to get in and out of town from here, you can even avoid the interstates in town which are a nightmare, access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is great too. Cell service was good, while the signal strength wasn't super high, speeds were more than enough to work and stream. Overall a great stop and we will be back for sure.

We were somewhat hesitant about this stay due to the small size of the park and that it didn't already exist on Campendium for us to read reviews on. But due to it's location, we decided to give it a shot.
And how happy we are that we did!
There are two sections of this RV Park. One section sits close to the main road and the other section (where we stayed) is down a hill from the main road. I would highly recommend asking for this section of the RV Park. Once we dropped down the hill and saw our site, we were blown away! It's a pull-thru site with a huge grassy area and incredible views.
The utilities are placed in a good location and easy to use. It's important to note that there are NO facilities here. No bathhouse or anything else. But if you are self-contained as we are, that should not be a problem. During COVID times, we don't use those anyway. The site was quite level and needed little adjustment.
We made our reservation with Fred and the service with him prior to our arrival was above and beyond. He texted us several times to make sure we had the correct directions and we were good with anything we needed. I have never received that type of service before.
The surroundings here are breathtaking. There are gazebos with swings to enjoy and there is a creek that runs through the property.
There was free wifi which worked well for me to work from. Cell signal was strong as well.
We may end up wishing we could stay here longer!
