We are a young family with young children. There are several parks, shops, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We've tried more remote campsites, but with our kids, it's definitely more convenient to be in town. It's about $20 by Uber to get to Hollywood Beach. We travel everywhere with our electric bikes. The staff is very nice, and we have a washer/dryer. The site is made of rock, but we have a cobblestone slab, lounge style furniture, a dining table, a barbecue and also a place to make a fire! Honestly, that suits us perfectly. There is little greenery, but so many parks nearby.

I'm surprised they are even associated with KOA. I put in a complaint to headquarters and hope they lose their association with how they treat customers; even my neighbors were displeased and leaving. Another friend told me a story and was so surprised on how ride they were he refused to stay.
You know it's a bad place when campers can exchange horror stories.
Avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache after being pissed off

Stayed Jan 13, 2023 3 nights. Tight spots and passages through an older campground. Arrived just after dark, office was closed and finally located our site number that aren't numbered well. Ladies bathroom had one, yes just one, pedestal sink with no counter space so anyone brushing teeth or hand washing after toilets had to share. No hand toweling as they'd misplaced the key and didn't opt to put in a roll of paper towels. It was the only place I found a couple months ahead and certainly better than nothing. On the positive side staff was friendly, when the office was open, and we discovered it was just down the road from The Guitar Hotel & Hard Rock Casino. The hotel and casino are very cool to walk through and you can actually park free and see it's evening light show. for no cost. We visited Biscayne Bay and Everglades National Parks which were an hour drive, but again, all we could get. Highly recommend Everglade's Shark Valley trolley tour. Their website shows limited reservations, but lots of walkup availability. It has a super small parking lot and we opted to park the pickup on Tamiami Trail and walk in.

Getting into the RV park from the road was the first challenge. It isn't much more than a narrow driveway. Once checked in I found our "pull through" site wasn't going to happen due to another small alley way I would have had to negotiate so I opted for the safer alternative and backed in. Getting to the electrical box was very difficult due to overgrown palm trees growing right up to the box. The water was a good 3 feet into the next site over and also under these palms. Our site was a buddy site which is fine when you're traveling with a buddy, if not, it makes it difficult to enjoy the patio when you're not a smoker and your neighbors are chain cigar and foo foo cigarette smokers. Our second week here we had friends coming through the area and they stopped in to see if there was a space available for the night. The staff on shift told them they had a spot but would not let them look at the site to see if they would actually be able to fit. They were basically told, take it or leave it site unseen. They wisely decided to leave it. This isn't something this park can help but be prepared for lots of sirens. Also the highway is used for car and motorcycle racing so the noise level is up there.

Doesn’t look very safe. Staff was very attentive but this place is just a place to park on the way to the keys.

We needed an overnight and this was kind of our option for our route. We would have preferred a WalMart if it were allowed. I knew this park was tight, but yikes. We had a “pull through” site that we had to back into because our neighbor had their tow vehicle in our site. Then to exit, we pulled through to a dead-end road, so we had to do a sort of three-point turn with our 40-ft fifth wheel in order to get out. Not exactly a quick in and out like I would expect from a KOA. Our site itself was very nice and the patio was pretty neat. I found the neighborhood pleasant and enjoyed a morning run around the area.
Our main issue was a staff member who insisted upon “helping” us park and then “helping” us exit even after we declined politely. We found this stressful and confusing as we have a system for parking and we know our own rig best. It made the tight spot unbearable with another person inserting themselves into the parking fiasco. For this reason, we would not stop again.

We found this "campground" through KOA's website. This isn't really a campground - it is an urban RV parking lot with hook-ups, fire pits, bathrooms, and pet area. They have created nice pads for the outdoor tables and chairs on attractive pavers, and added some narrow bushes to the landscaping to try to create privacy, etc. to meet KOA's minimum criteria, but it is located in what I would call a large city block in an urban area.
The sites are very tight. There is constant road noise, including sirens, motorcycles, and loud cars all night. Our site is next to what is shown on the map as a campsite, but currently has a 5th-wheel style trailer that are the bathrooms. There is no cable hook-up and Internet access is an additional $3 per day - and the info on the Internet access says it doesn't support streaming. The antenna on our RV did pick up over 50 channels, but the info from the office did not include a list of local channels, so you have to wade through 50+ channels to see what stations you get.
If I just wanted a quick overnight while traveling, or a place to stay in my RV while I conducted business in the area, it would be fine, but for a vacation or camping experience it missed the mark. The owners have done all they can to make it attractive but location is everything and at this price point I expected better.
