l did not stay here but I did use his dump station. He only charges $8 for the use and you can fill your fresh water. The owner is real nice and helpful and the place is nice and clean.

RV park is small but is in a great location in downtown Kanab. Lots of options for dining, shopping or exploring the area. RV spots are tight but they come with fire pits, table and chairs. Doug was a wonderful host and made the stay even better. We’ll be back.

Also had a few random camping items for free on the office porch (random brand new things!) Site #8 was level. Would have stayed longer but we had other reservations already. A little noisy on street.

If you're looking for a good spot to explore Kanab from, this park can't be beat. It's right in the middle of the town and we typically walked everywhere, including to the BLM office that handles the Wave lottery and several nice little restaurants. The town is just 15 minutes away from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, within an hour of some fantastic slot canyons, and about 90 minutes from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
RVs are parked right next to each other and the whole campground is tiny. You will be looking directly at your neighbor's RV and I don't think we could have put our awning out if we tried. There are several trees which create a little bit of ambiance, but the privacy situation is pretty lousy. While our site was level, our small picnic table looked pretty old and dirty. The campground's wifi was very good and we had no issues with our AT&T hotspot.
You have to call for reservations and if you pay by credit card, they charge you extra, so we paid by check, but, their awesome customer service made up for any weaknesses in this category. We are endlessly amazed at what a difference friendly customer service makes. We chatted with one of the camp-hosts, Doug, several times across our week long stay and he just could not have been nicer or more helpful. Great customer service really does have such an impact and his friendliness and excitement about all that Kanab has to offer was contagious.
This could be an entirely forgettable park - it's small, cramped, offers little privacy, etc. But, it's located in a perfect spot, within walking and driving distance of many places of interest, and the customer service was incredibly friendly and helpful, leaving us with an overall positive impression. Even though the campground isn't much more than a small parking lot, it was always quiet, the place was well maintained, and the staff were warm and engaging. We would stay here again.

Grocery store, and mc Donald's are within walking distance. The only downside was the traffic on the Main Street was sometimes loud when large trucks go through, but that seemed to stop at night. Stay here....My heart stayed in Kanab, and if you like small, quaint towns full of friendly people, than yours probably will too.
