Our stay was only one night. The road in is quite bumpy.
It was very easy to find and only some of the sites have fire pits.

We parked at the first fire ring on the left as you start down the dirt road. Very little trash and I picked up what was there so we left it cleaner than when we got there. There were at least two large trailers further down the road. Great views in the morning with the rising sun. 25' trailer.

We loved this boon docking site! You drive to the end of the road and it turns into a gravel road that we managed with our large fifth wheel just fine. There were several great turn around spots before we found our boon docking space. We only passed one other camper while we were out here, so you may have the place to yourself. Beautif... more
We loved this boon docking site! You drive to the end of the road and it turns into a gravel road that we managed with our large fifth wheel just fine. There were several great turn around spots before we found our boon docking space. We only passed one other camper while we were out here, so you may have the place to yourself. Beautiful views of Mt Jefferson and the three sisters.
No hookups or any modern conveniences, but great for people looking for an off the grid camping spot.

Very odd to Smith with easy access. We drove all the way in past the GPS coordinates to the top of a hill for pretty views. But unfortunately, someone left poopy toilet paper and broken glass everywhere (diarrhea?). Gross! I'm sure there are clean and fine spots to enjoy here. We moved about 100 feet to get away from the TP at least...

The coordinates on here take you to a little roundabout among the OHV trails with a fire pit. There are definitely other areas you could park but careful not to drive into trail (there is good signage). I stayed here on a Wednesday night & only saw one other car roll through; not sure if they parked for the night or just continued on. ... more

I stayed here on a Wednesday night & only saw one other car roll through; not sure if they parked for the night or just continued on. I caught a lovely view of the sun setting over the cascade range & a full moon later in the night. Dirt road in is navigatable with 2-wheel drive. This site was perfect for a brief overnight stay, but if you're not here for the trails it seems there isn't much more than a nice view & quiet night of rest to get out of it.

The dirt road entering this spot is well maintained and not overly bumpy. There is also ample room to turn around with an RV - always a plus! We grabbed a beautiful spot with a lovely view of the Three Sisters mountains and by evening after the ATVers were gone, we had the place to ourselves.
