Overall Rating
Came off season during the week. Quiet location, electric, dump station on site. There are water spigots but not on every site.

We stayed here 3 nights 9/16–19/2022 for $20/night. Campground and picnic areas on large peninsula that jutted into Harvey County East Park Lake. We stayed here 3 nights 9/16–19/2022 for $20/night. Campground and picnic areas on large peninsula that jutted into Harvey County East Park Lake. Several longer-term, seasonal campers were in residence. There were 45 gravel sites in 3 rows, most appeared somewhat sloped front-to-back and each with 20A/30A pedestal, concrete picnic table, and grill/fire ring. There were fill-up water spigots near rear of several sites (none roadside). From sites 11 and 24 southeasterly along the lakeside road are more spaced apart than those encountered initially. There were 5 more RV electric sites on the west side behind the Volunteer Hall, and boondocking and tent areas on each side of the peninsula. The bathhouse was old but quite clean (but the men's side was missing mirrors). There was a mid-park playground and designated swimming area at south end of campground, but silty-sand shores were accommodating to swimming most anywhere. White egrets and great blue herons commonly seen around lake.

A great overnight stay on the way to the Black Hills, and if we fished, this is the perfect spot for probably a couple of nights.
