We have stayed at a few less-than-desirable campsites lately. So Green Acres was a welcome relief. It's right off a frontage road, right next door to an RV repair facility, and set back so it's relatively quiet. I heard a train on two nights, that's it. It's paved, with flat, nearly level sites (ours was low in front a few inches, possibly for drainage). The back-in sites have a strip of grass that they keep green even in this dry part of California. The five pull-through sites have river rock instead of grass. There's a fenced dog area they also water at night so it stays green. Our dog really appreciated it. The pavement has been scorching. They have a small laundry room with limited recycling. And they are very serious about the 5 miles an hour speed limit. We got scolded. Overall a nice, small, well-thought-out park in Redding.

There are only 50 sites, but call to see if they have any openings. Even though the online system said there wasn’t any available, by calling Steve was able to find a site for us for a week. We were in Site 3 which is a cement pad with a gentle slope (3 inches low in the front), 50 amp electric, water and sewer. AT&T was 3 bars 5G, about 10 useable OTA channels and park WIFI was great for streaming! This park was great to explore Lassen Volcanic NP and the Redding area. We will definitely stay here if we are back in the area.

Stayed one night traveling through Redding - this is great for a stopover. Nice long and level concrete pads, good WiFi, 50a service. Filled with new Class A and fifth wheels. Manager was super friendly and helpful.
Only three small nits -
1. No restrooms (they do have laundry)
2. Water pressure is high like 85lbs so you need a reducer
3. Train comes through 1-2 times at night with a horn, just enough to let you know it’s a train. Otherwise quiet.
Surrounding neighborhood is “in transition” - this doesn’t impact the park which is well lit and separate, but don’t let it stop you from staying- just know you’ll want to head into Redding for any groceries or meals
Waze has incorrect routing and sends you to the side of the property where you can’t enter. It’s off the main front road next to an RV service building.
Price is great - I’d easily stay again.

This is under fairly new ownership and they really keep this place spic and span. Absolutely beautiful and the sites are paved and level. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Make sure to visit Sundial Bridge!

Came in late after a long day of travel, trying to outrun bad weather. No reservation and they were pretty full but they found us place for the night , they were really nice. I'd recommend them and their RV park.

Bring leveling blocks, the new section is on a slope. Management was friendly, small pool for the kids. I would like to have seen an enclosed dog area, playground for kids. Overall, nice park. There is train noise.

Sometimes it's just better to be lucky than good! We were going north from Sacramento and decided to stop in Redding, CA. So, we checked Campendium to see what was around. Based on the strength of the reviews, we gave them a call.
Donita (the manager) answered the phone and said they were full but asked us the size of our trailer (19' Airstream, pulled by an Xterra). She said she might have a site for a short rig available and to come by so she could check. Bingo, we fit!
This is a very clean RV park about 2 miles west of Interstate 5. It has many large shade trees, laundry (alas no showers), full hook-ups, level concrete pads, and a swimming pool. Just what we needed for the 106-degree temperatures that were happening with the NW heatwave.
The managers were very nice and helpful. The only negative was that the sites do not have any picnic benches on the sites. But hey, I'm not going to nit-pick this. Wifi works as well as cellphones. Cable TV also on the pedestal.
