Overall Rating

Nice campground in the middle of the city. The staff was kind and helpful. There are three areas you can camp in—a partial hookup back in area (pretty nice, trees), a full-hook up area (very cramped) and a partial hookup area with pull throughs (the most space between sites, less trees, grass areas). We parked in the pull through area. There is a community trail that goes right through this area of the campground and you’ll see everyone from college students to families to homeless people using it. It gives people who aren’t staying in the park a chance to come through and check out what everyone has sitting out. We had an older mountain bike locked up and in the bike rack on the back of our rig. The lock was cut with bolt cutters, the bike rack straps were sliced and the bike was stolen. So beware if you’re staying there, maybe choose a spot where your bikes can’t be seen and definitely don’t leave anything out you don’t want to lose. Road noise is pretty loud. Showers are ok. We’d choose somewhere else next time.

Overall Rating

Stayed 3 nights over Canada Day. Only intended 2 nights, but developed a RV issue - park staff wete great and understanding about extending. Spots are paved and well set up. The park asks that you use blocks under jacks. Would stat here again.
