This park is part of PA membership. We made a reservation for 4 nights and were sent an invoice via email. Paid invoice through a service called Square. Received call later from park to see if we had paid. We assured them we paid the invoice and had to send copy of the email to them showing confirmation. After looking at the total, we realized this math didn't add up. After speaking with the office there is a $3 per extra person charge (2 people included in rate) as opposed to $2 shown on PA website. So for our 2 kids who are under 12, we had to pay $6 extra each night!
The neighborhood looked promising as we drove to the park. Once there, we realized this is basically a trailer park with full-time residents. We had two open sites to choose from, one of which there was no way we would be able to back our 32' 5th wheel in with our long bed truck. We had to drive around the park to the next open spot and found that the roads are very small and have very tight turns. When we got around to the site, we were not impressed. The site was tightly wedged between 2 residents. The site itself had overhanging branches that we were afraid were going to tear up our AC unit. We got backed in at an angle and as stated before, we were very close to our neighbors. It did take a little work to get level due to sand. We did have FHU, but it was a 50amp. Our rig is 30 amp, so we had to borrow an adapter from the office. One of our neighbors stood outside smoking and critiquing us about our back up methods and the rearing of our children. (Out of respect for our elders and seeing how we were to be neighbors for the next 4 days, we bit our tongues.) We did find some of the other residents helpful when a problem arose with our trailer.
The site was near a very busy street, so there was a lot of traffic noise. The laundry room had 2 washers (1 was not working) and 2 dryers-$1.50 ea. The shower/restrooms were also located here. The shower/bathroom was a single private room-one for men and one for women. They were fairly clean. There was a dock for fishing too. The pool was clean. There was supposed to be Wifi, but it was not working at the time of our stay. We had about 3-4 bars of 4G with Verizon.
We wound up having to stay 3 more nights for a total of 7. Part of the appeal when booking it was its proximity to LEGOLAND. The pictures on the website were a little deceiving though. We would not seek this park out again if we were to return to this area.
