“LOTS of Traffic very loud”

LOTS of traffic and very noisy. Vehicles flying by at high speeds. This is liking sleeping at a rest stop. Sites are at an incline and not big rig friendly for that reason.

The RV parking is at the far west end of the park, across from the colorful playground. Quiet at night, but noisy with work traffic first thing in the morning. The dump station, mentioned by other posts, is unmarked and over by the bathrooms (across from the basketball courts). It does NOT have a water spigot to clean out, or top off tanks.

We spent one night here after running from the “In The Pines RV Park” which is pretty much a homeless camp. Anyways….this is a great spot to spend a night or maybe two. Please please please be respectful and not make this a long term stay.

The place is perfect for a one night stay for people in converted cars, It's located in a nice park, no restrooms and not a lot of bushes if you know what I mean. The lot has some transit from locals, so you will see cars drive through frequently.

A good find for an overnight stay. Free including electric. There is a slight grade but was able to level without taking 5th wheel off the truck. Paved with a green park in front and back of sites. No water. Would stay here again.

Nice since it is free with 30 amp service. The spots are at a steep incline, So you need to be careful when leveling. Not much in town to do, if you are passing thru and need a stay I would recommend this.

I could not hear wind in the trees over the rumble of the trucks. As to feeling secure, if parking directly on a busy city street gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling, go for it. It is FREE, so you get what you pay for. No one else here. No reason to not feel safe, but site is very exposed -- would not recommend for single, female travelers. It is a place to crash for 1 night.

What a beautiful spot to spend a day or two. I have been on the road for over two months now, and the facilities are better than most of places I have stayed. Good water, electricity,... but most of all a peaceful oasis where you can feel safe and secure while enjoying the good Texas air and view of the starry sky. I came for a night, but ended up staying several simply because it is such an attractive and safe location. Traffic was on the road was no problem, possibly because of on-going road construction on the street to the west.
The only negative at all was the dump station. It has a wall around it that is about a foot high. The connection on my trailer is lower than that so I could not use the dump station.

You should put that there is a dump station on the map. I have been using it for several years.
