Once off the paved road, the gravel road is full of huge potholes (see photos). Easy enough to maneuver around with a small vehicle, but towing large trailers or $6-digit motorhomes, this site would not be friendly to you, especially if the ground is soft after a rain.
Scenic views, far enough off the interstate to be as peaceful as your neighbors allow it to be. Never heard I-80 traffic all night.
There are zero services available: No water, toilets, showers, electricity etc. Truly a boondocking site, so be prepared to be 100% self-sufficient.
Never bothered with checking cell service as I was on vacation with the phone off.

The road in is very bumpy and damaged my RV. The mosquitoes were terrible, it was hard to stay outside. Despite a shooting ban, our neighbors shoot their guns all afternoon into the night. There is not ATV roads in the campground and water is far away. We moved to an area nearby on Telephone rd and found a quite secluded site.

Spent three days camping in mid June. Several branches of national Forest Road with a lot of areas to dry camp. Saw 20 to 30 different campsites during the weekend and several people came for day use as well. Campsites were well spaced out and plenty of room. Rode in bumpy but very passable for most rigs. The deeper you go the steeper and bumpy or the hills become. Before going to deep you may want to walk to ensure your rig can’t handle the roads. The first half mile is easily accessible.

Forest Road 712AA has a steep hill and some pretty big bumps on the drive in, but I don't think many rigs would have much trouble as long as you take it slow. Forest Road 712AA has a steep hill and some pretty big bumps on the drive in, but I don't think many rigs would have much trouble as long as you take it slow. Where the GPS is plotted is along a tree line and several areas to camp are established. When we were there, there were 4 or 5 other RVs around us, but there is still plenty of privacy from the trees and rocks.
The area is beautiful and a few minutes away from Laramie.
