“Nice park, slightly noisy from the nearby roads and hospital, still had a great stay”

Stayed 2 weeks, nice park, nice facilities. Nice affordable park to get you in the Pensacola area. The previous reviewer must have been there when they were renovating, I saw no issues while walking the dogs around the park. A bit of rush hour road noise and some ambulance sirens at times, but you are in a city setting. Nice level sites, nice neighbors.
rt-smilesformiles would stay here again

We stayed here for a week March 23-30, 2023. Upon our arrival we discovered there is no office or anyone to direct you to your campsite. After we pulled in we discovered they had the road blocked and we had to back out in order to get into our spot. We were in spot # 18 which is the very first one as you pull in the park. There was a large pile of very big concrete blocks piled up next to our spot that you had to climb over in order to hook up your services. There was also a guy building a fence right next to our spot.
The owner did come over to greet us when we arrived and I told him we did not like the spot because it was very junked up. He said if we didn’t want to stay he would be happy to give us a full refund if we wanted to go somewhere else. We knew we would have trouble finding a spot on the beach at the last minute so we stayed. The fence guy didn’t start until around 10 and quit around 3 so he wasn’t much of a bother.
The problem was when the guys with the grinders showed up and started grinding the concrete of the large bricks right next to our RV for two days. The dust was so bad that you could not sit outside and everything was covered with it. They did come over with a leaf blower and blew off the truck and trailer, but it was still a mess. After they finished with the grinding and moving, they showed up with a dump truck and skid steer and spent two days loading the bricks into the dump truck.
On the day we were leaving one of the owners showed up and said they were refunding us $100 because of all the construction we endured in our spot while we were there. So far we have yet to see any refund.
This park is mostly full of full-timers. It is not a place I would every stay again if I was in the area and was definitely not worth nearly $400.00 for a week
