Overall Rating
Smaller RV park, must be military to stay here. It is clean and all solid surface. The sites are smaller. There are pretty views if you walk a little ways from the campground area. There is a dog park available. The sites have 50amp, water, and sewer. There is a laundry facility, pets are allowed and there is a gate.

I was able to score 6 nights here and wow! What a hidden jewel. The area has RV park, bungalows and hotel rooms right on the bay. When I got there someone was in my site and I had to go back to the office. There's nowhere to park (there's one pullover spot for check in) so I had to stop in the road and block the exit to go into the of... more
I was able to score 6 nights here and wow! What a hidden jewel. The area has RV park, bungalows and hotel rooms right on the bay.
When I got there someone was in my site and I had to go back to the office. There's nowhere to park (there's one pullover spot for check in) so I had to stop in the road and block the exit to go into the office. While they straightened out the problem I drove around the block. Seems they told the guy his correct site number but the paperwork they gave him had mine on it. The RV park is TIGHT! Backing into my site was a challenge but doable. The location is amazing, so close to everything. Even with all the kids around it was still pretty quiet and very enjoyable (except for the guy smoking a cigar in the site next to mine).The bathhouse was clean and had good water pressure. I didn't use the laundry. There is a pool and splash pad over looking the bay as well as a marina with pontoon rentals.
I will definitely stay here again!

This campground turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It is clean and well maintained. It is on the water along the bay in Destin, Florida. The amenities were first class. This campground turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It is clean and well maintained. It is on the water along the bay in Destin, Florida.
The amenities were first class. There were multiple playgrounds for the children, a great water splash pad and a swimming pool with water spouts.
This was a great place to watch sunsets.
Restrooms were clean and well maintained and the laundry room was up-to-date.
Bring you bikes as there are some good paths around the campground.
As with most FamCamps, the visitors are friendly and respectful. This may be from the common military bond everyone shares.
Sites are tight and we had to ask our neighbor to move his truck to get in our site. The sites in this campground are full hookups with 30/50 amp power. The park also provides cable TV.
We look forward to returning here.
