We live local but still decided to stay twice this year. The facility’s, grass and people were awesome. The first site we stayed in was open which was nice because we shared two sites with family. We just went back and had a gravel site with cement pad which was very nice. The fishing is great with multiple boat launches. It’s a secure campground so you can leave and not worry about anything happening. For the price you won’t be disappointed. The playground is also nice and there is a bike path that you can ride to north Muskegon or to Lake Michigan
camper-932243 would stay here again

We have been coming here for years and always had a good experience. This year is completely different. We made reservations back in April as always, we are always in the same area suitable for a 40 ft motorhome and toad. We were told where our spot was and proceeded to it. It is extremely narrow, so much so we called to be moved and we’re told no…they were completely full, footnote is the site we had always been on is empty. It was a multipoint turn to try and thread the needle between their posts and 2 large trees. It is a “pull thru” spot, however there is absolutely no way to get out of this spot going forward!!! So we finally maneuver enough to get in, only to discover it is way off level…we get blocks out to try to at least get semi level. Now with slides out…we have exactly 2 feet of space to set up any chairs to be outdoors. Immediately next to our spot…a walkway to the bathhouse….there are seasonal people using it constantly. Kids biking back and forth a dozen times, I finally told them they needed to go home. Then there is the construction…..dump truck loads of dirt and sand, back up beepers, constant mowing with the worlds absolutely loudest lawnmower…that goes on past 8:00 pm. Weed wacking after mowing….its ridiculous!!!!!
The coup de ta…..someone let their dog poop on our postage stamp site and not clean it up!!!!!

Staff Was Friendly After That Down Hill. Site Very Unlevel Constant Noise From Camp Worker. Mowing the lawn at 8:00 pm while everyone is sitting outside. Cement trucks backhoes and tampers and other equipment all day long. Will definitely not be back or recommend this place
