We arrived on a Monday in late June to find snow on the ground in some areas. Beautiful lake where our son caught a nice trout for supper.
We easily fit with our 28 ft trailer, though leveling is needed. Quiet even though there were several other campers. Only downfall were the mosquitos. They were so thick come evening that they covered the side of our trailer. You could not go outside for anything. That said, the sunset was beautiful to watch from our window.
We have Verizon, and had perfect 4g and 2 bars.

This is a great little campground on the way to the summit of the Steens . Around 8000 foot elevation
Beware! Mountain lions frequent the area and a nylon tent isn't much protection against a cougar . If you can make it up the rough road , you'll be rewarded !
