We staid 1 night, was 25$ for the cheapest RV park, and it includes electricity. All facilities available. Super clean place.

We arrived about 7 on a Saturday and two sites were left. The staff was friendly and helpful and it looks like there is a lot to do during summer months for kids… but it is super, super loud with I80 right next door and a train whistle at all hours. The sites are semi-close and very unlevel even though there are concrete pads for each ... more

The staff was friendly and helpful and it looks like there is a lot to do during summer months for kids… but it is super, super loud with I80 right next door and a train whistle at all hours. The sites are semi-close and very unlevel even though there are concrete pads for each one. We wouldn’t stay again.

In season, fully staffed, this state park has a lot to offer. Hiking, biking, water park, zip lining, horseback riding, paddle boats, theater, volleyball, numerous playgrounds etc. SAC museum next door. Six miles from the outlet mall. In season, fully staffed, this state park has a lot to offer. We did an overnight at this camp. Very easy access from the Interstate. Two large campgrounds, lodge, lots of day use areas. Site was level, they offer different combinations of hook ups. One of the campgrounds has laundry which was great. Outside the laundry was a “take a book/leave a book” cabinet…HIGHLY inappropriate for a STAT... more
We did an overnight at this camp. Very easy access from the Interstate. Two large campgrounds, lodge, lots of day use areas. Site was level, they offer different combinations of hook ups. One of the campgrounds has laundry which was great. Outside the laundry was a “take a book/leave a book” cabinet…HIGHLY inappropriate for a STATE PARK - it was sponsored by the family of a woman who was a “woman of God” and it was filled with religious CDs, books etc. There is no place for something sponsored by a local person to promote religion. The “take a book/leave a book” idea is great, but not for selling religion. I can guarantee you that if I approached to install a similar thing with LGBTQ+ information/books/videos, they would never let me. There is no place for religious promotion in a public park. A huge turn off. Disappointing to not have any recycling. Shower house was not particularly clean, but at least well aired out. I’m sure people stay for longer durations, but we’d unlikely not stay more than one night as a pass through. It totally serviced the purpose for that.

The campground has large, flat spaces with full hookups, electric only, or no hookups. The bathrooms are clean and good. In addition to camping, this park has a lodge, restaurant, and cabins. It has a massive playground, tennis courts, "go ape" course, indoor climbing wall, fishing pier, disc golf, 18-hole miniature golf and drivin... more
The campground has large, flat spaces with full hookups, electric only, or no hookups. The bathrooms are clean and good. In addition to camping, this park has a lodge, restaurant, and cabins. It has a massive playground, tennis courts, "go ape" course, indoor climbing wall, fishing pier, disc golf, 18-hole miniature golf and driving range, pony rides,, trail rides, paddle boats,, convenience store, and a theater with plays. Park fee is $8 per vehicle per day. Camping fee for electric only is $25, for a total of $33. Activity fees are very reasonable.
The only downside is noise from the interstate and train.

We stayed at Eugene Mahoney on the homeward leg of a 5 week road trip. My wife and I wish we had stayed a few more nights here as there is so much to do at the park. We stayed at Eugene Mahoney on the homeward leg of a 5 week road trip. My wife and I wish we had stayed a few more nights here as there is so much to do at the park. The campground is great- well spaced shaded sites with electricity and flush toilets. The showers in our loop were out of order but it was just a hundred yards or so to the next loop. Neighbors were polite and reasonably quiet. It is near I-80 so some road noise and there is an occasional train whistle.
There is so much to do here! Walking and bike trails, fishing ponds, pool, driving range, etc. Right next door is the Strategic Air Command museum.

This state park is phenomenal. I'm in a minivan camper with a small dog. I paid $25 for a camp spot. I was 8th on the wait-list but still got a site! We got here after hours during a snow storm (January) with our camper to find a reprieve from driving. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The park itself looked great! Bathrooms were large and fairly clean.
