UNSAFE!!! Please do not risk your possessions and your well-being here! We had our bike (triple locked) stolen at night from the back of our motor home and our neighbors told us their RV was broken into and looted. When we spoke to security, one young man blurted out “Well, it wasn’t anyone from inside!” and a second shrugged and said “I can’t show you our security videos” both of which seemed oddly suspicious and entirely unhelpful. We were finally able to get them to share the number of the local sheriff’s department and when the deputy sheriff arrived to take our statements, he shared with us that the casino was well-known for theft and break-ins and that last week someone drove into the parking lot and randomly started shooting. If you travel here, don’t expect yourself or your vehicle to be safe and don’t expect any protection or assistance from the casino.

We stayed one night as it seems a fine option compared to what else is available in this area. The no cost was awesome and it was clean and very safe feeling. They give you a pass good for up to 3 days now.. the parking lot is paved, lines, lite and secure. there is traffic as the place is open 24 hrs..
usually around 11 or so week day night it calms down.. not sure on weekends..
You can get to the redwoods stuff just to the north super easy.. We did he Howland Hill Rd and it was so cool.. you go through a neighborhood, pass through a gate and BAM you are in the big tall redwoods.. Man they are hugh.. DO not take a RV trailer longer than like 16ft or MH longer than 25 ft as its tight in places.. We are in crew cab f-250..
Easy run down to Klamath falls for the other non RV stuff.. Hwy 101 from past the casino to K. Falls is a lot of pulling, narrow lanes, curves and scenic views that are stunning.. we head down that same way and do the Newton Drury parkway with 30 ft airstream in tow..
We did not really go inside the casino other than to registar.. the restaurant on site looks nice but was a bit expensive for my taste..
When we were arrive around 4:30 pm the elk were out in a huge herd right by the road..
highly recommend if you need a place to spend couple 3 nights..
PRO TIP:.. if you are heading South on Hwy 101 out of the casino you are better to go straight through the aroundabout and get on 101 there then turning what would be left and heading that way..
WHY.. the 2 +mile 6% grade heading South that starts about the Humboldt Rd intersection.. If you go out Sand Mine Rd to 101 it give you about a 1/2 mile or so to get some speed up to charge the hill..your transmission will thank you. SO when you turn out on 101 put the HAMMER DOWN.. :) I was able to keep speed around 50 or so.. there are some tightish turn so be ready to use both lanes to keep speed up.. and some gorgeous views..

We pulled over to the beach side of the parking lot and the view from the dining room table was a herd of 30 elk grazing. Amazing place. Casino was packed because the power was out in town, but felt safe and quiet. Internet was average though.

And, enjoy it while it lasts, because eventually there is supposedly an RV park going in somewhere here, so the quick easy overnight days will very likely end someday. This was a PERFECT overnight place for my family. We bought some food here, which was good - and, shows respect to the host. Highly recommended!!!

Only a couple other campers parked near us. Very quiet and level. Food at casino was very tasty, nice priced and huge portions. The elk herd is huge. We stayed one night boondocking. Would highly recommend this place. Crescent city is not the cleanest town but this casino is 5 stars.

Not sure what more we could ask for. Quiet spot, only a couple vans there, free spot, good food, got free $5 to lose at some random game, we had a fun night here. We got about 80mbps down from AT&T

The security guard let us know that we could stay up to two nights but to check in with him if we needed to stay longer.
There are 8 pull-through spots that are paved and relatively level. The parking lot was pretty quiet after 10pm. As a bonus, we woke up there was a bit of a view of the ocean!
Would absolutely stay here again.
No hookups, water or dumping but a great semi-level place to rest for the night.

Very nice place to dry camp. Upon arrival went in to ask if we could stay. Security helped us get registered. We ate at the restaurant. The food was tasty. Staff was great all the way around. Didn’t use casino. Lots and lots of elk. Lovely place.

It’s a clean, flat, smooth parking lot, and pretty quiet, at least on the nights that I was there.
A couple of cautions: 1) They like full-size RVs, not “converted vans”. I drive a Honda Element converted to a micro-RV, and they weren’t going to let me stay until I promised to play some card games. 2) Security can get a little militant if you don’t check-in with them. The casino is open 24 hrs. and they expect you to register when you arrive, at any time.
