When arrived and asked for a spot, the guy from staff needed quite some time to find one for us, then charged $54 and afterwards explained that we had to stay on their parking lot between the highway and the RV Park!!!!!! It seems that they do not offer places for foreign RVs, just have a couple of historic trailers on their side which they rent. If he would have explained it up front and would have told us where we will have to stay it would have been customer friendly and fair. But so, we feel cheated. To be honest: $54 for a spot on a parking lot beside the highway is way too much. We could have stood on a rest area with the same feeling. Just to mention: his excuse was that we could use the facilities (shower and toilet, as far as the outdoor kitchen). Trying doing so at the next morning, it turned out that it were outdoor showers and toilets. We had 29 Fahrenheit and I'm not an polar bear. We skipped that.

We dry camped here in the car park via Hipcamp for a night stopover and can thoroughly recommend it. Amazing outdoor showers, great hosts, nice vista and walking distance into the town with all its wonderful eating and arts scene. It’s on the road so a bit noisy but would definitely recommend.

Unlike the previous reviewer, we were charged $15 per person plus a $10 dog fee (per night!), so we paid $40 /night to park in a dirt parking lot. We were able to use the outdoor bathrooms and showers, which looked pretty cool, but we were a bit cold showering outside in mid-March (and they weren't very private). There is wifi in the lobby, which was a bit slow at times, but the lobby is super cute, so we sat in there to do some work from time to time. They have free coffee every morning as well. This is a MARFA hot spot, so there was a concert or two that went on while we were here, and it was fun to walk around the grounds and lay in the hammocks. They also have a big outdoor community kitchen and grills for those who want to cook outside. You can walk into town from here, which is what we mostly did. They will give you a list of places to check out when you get here- there are a few good spots for drinks, a dive bar, a burrito truck, etc. The beer garden was our favorite! We were also here the weekend of a music festival in MARFA, so during the week it was quiet and peaceful and on the weekend, hundreds of hipsters moved in with their tents and were fairly annoying and a bit loud.
Overall, this is a cool place, just expensive for RV camping.

As if the Mysterious Marfa Lights, art galleries, good food, and beautiful countryside aren't enough to encourage a detour to Marfa...there's El Cosmico. A fantastical mix of yurts, trailers, tepees, and tents are available for rent and tent camping is welcomed on the property. There is an outdoor community kitchen, numerous hammocks, and various places to relax. The outdoor showers are certainly something to write home about, 2 or 3 times at least. The Lobby House and Provision Co. is where you check in, grab complimentary coffee in the morning, and pick up a beer or souvenir.
They welcomed us to park our bus in a quiet side of the parking lot and for a mere 15 bucks were granted access to all of the amenities...shower houses, the kitchen, and of course morning coffee. They do not have hook ups for RVs, but with their fantastic facilities it hardly matters.
